I like that When you didn't get it right the first time you showed how to correct it (rather and re shooting the video.) This is real world conditions instruction. Thank you.
I hate when my help slams that head down. It can move the adjustment then they wonder why it's not threading right. This is the second video I've seen the head slammed down!
Hey Wolf, you're correct. Maybe just a poor habit of mine. If the spring assist stopper button on the carrige is OK, it should absorb much of the slam. Usually the adjustment should also remain if the adjuster lock rod is tight. But you are right.
When I line up the die to do any size , and it doesn’t just take . I’d have to help push or it may not even thread . Just strips the pipe . I have to constantly adjust it . Why won’t it thread properly with a nice taper when it’s set on the exact number ? Are my dies bad ? I don’t like this machine

I ain’t never getting dope on the end of my tape ever. Lol
Thank you! Learned a couple tricks from this video.
There is just one speed on the Ridgid machine. It's a good speed to "cut" threads in good quality pipe with good quality dies and get the job done.
Big up sir, that is good instructions.
Thanks you very much appreciate you
Thank you for this! Helped me out incredibly
Thank you for a good video, very helpful .
