The only deal we’ll see on this monitor is “Free Shipping”
Is it free shipping on Amazon?
i didn’t get free shipping 😅 but i had one yesterday at least
😂
I think we'll see free listing/shipping of your chosen kidney to sell for it
No such thing as free shipping. The shipping fee is included in the price of the product. 😂😂😂
STOP being so easily manipulated by the word FREE.
Excellent video! What camera are you using to record your videos? Excellent quality
And it's sold out everywhere scalpers are already on their bullshit on eBay.
It's new, it'll be that way for at least 6 more months probably. Once those 27' versions happen it'll be fine.
That monitor not sold out atleast not here
$2400 on eBay….
@@gaz6329 you can get an 85-in Samsung neo 4K mini LED TV for cheaper than this. I'm going to wait.
ya its still sold out, 2400 on Amazon. but even if ur paying msrp, with tax ur gonna be paying1500 which is way too much rn
''The Tech Chap'' your all reviews are awesome 🙂
Thanks for the detail about 65Ws vs 90Ws on the USB-C port. I don't think anyone else covered that and it's good info to have. Regarding not being able to get to 240Hz. Most people that are spending this money on a monitor are probably buying 4090s and the soon to be announced 5090s.
That Optical Port is a big selling point for me. Ever since that got removed from the Xbox Series line of consoles, trying to get 5.1 while keeping 4k 120hz was hard. I did eventually find a HDMI switch that has a built in audio extractor. This would remove a couple of cables from my setup. But I can't justify £1300 and I have enough things I'm trying to do as it is
Great review as always Chap
Have you tested the FO32U2P? Trying to compare the two before choosing one.
Awesome.
Thanks Tom.
Does the USB type C have upstream so it also transfers the image to the monitor whilst charging?
Got mine yesterday, been waiting for a monitor with these specifications for years of using plasma and oled TV's. Some niggles remain but finally future is here. Also very happy at sdr 120nits, don't need eye scorching brightness on the desktop. Will have to check that rog arm. 👍
Some what 🤨
@@Planet-Animelmfao
Haha
@@Planet-Anime I have never seen someone say some shit like that? Lol wtf are "niggles"? 😂
I learned a new word today. Don't think i can use it though lol
Thanks for showing the matte vs glossy coating. 100% going with the Asus or Alienware now instead of LG.
Which monitor to buy the pg27aqdm or the PG32ucdm.
Which one will be better to play?
Hey Tech Chap, have you notice any flickering when using gsync? Especially in dark scenarios? I've noticed that disabling hardware acceleration from windows really reduce it with my Alienware AW3225QF
AW3225QF here , not seeing any flickering with gsync.
@@hnguyen2120 really? Even when it’s really dark grey?

you missed the screen shrink feature, very useful for trying to remain competitive in faster games
I’ll be waiting for the 27-inch versions. Hopefully those will also include USB-C PD and KVM switch.
you be waiting till end of 2025
@@jaye6450 A year and a half then. Not bad if you already have a decent monitor, and really prefer a 27 inch 4K OLED option. 163 ppi will be nice.
anything less than 32 inches is a waste for 4k
@@mint3 yup. only people who didn't research properly will buy a 27inch 4k
4K/UHD on 27 inch means you will need massive scaling in Windows. It is not really good for most people. 27" sweetspot is 1440p. 4K/UHD sweet spot is 32" for monitors that is. You will see little to no 27 inch monitors use a 4K panel outside of monitors made for design and work.
What should I pick? Q27G2, G271CQR, 25G3ZM, AG323FCXE, PG27Q15R2, hyperx armada 25 240hz they are similar in pricing
It's cool that they've added an SPDIF Out so you can run audio and video with 1 cable from the GPU to the monitor, then an SPDIF cable from the monitor to a soundbar or AV Receiver. Kinda wish monitor manufacturers would add an eARC out connector too.
Will anything beat the Asus ROG QD-OLED 4K in upcoming months?
Any recommendations for awesome Gaming speakers?
Definitely boom arm is needed for Asus ROG
LG has such a simple nice stand but, matt coding is a deal breaker definitely color's are important on 4K..
Deal breaker as in you wouldn’t get the LG oled?
AORUS FO32U2P is out... it's brighter but I sorta feel like the DP 2.1 on it really isn't needed. If it was one of those big ultrawides with a very high resolution then it's a different story.
Is that power cable management as bad as it looks? I want to use it in a VESA mount arm, but it won't look as good with that power cord drooping down. Can it be arranged?
it will look clean with vesa mount arm
Hi, have a question
What about customer service and the warranty system of Asus
I heard they are not the best at providing customer service and warranty for their products
Is it worth buying from them in this situation?
Are you going to be looking at the new lg g4 oleds? the 83 inch would be nice to see.
What is that desk you are using in the video?
Love to buy one. As of this date nobody has one in stock. I'm jealous of all you reviewers.🙂
Did you have any flickering with G-Sync enabled? Like in darker (gray) areas in games or other applications.
Did you have VRR flickering at all?
Did you have scanlines?
Are there any problems with the asus Rog Swift PG32UCDM?
He won't tell you anything bad about the monitor. This is a promotional video.

Just an idea @techchap could you please review the Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt™ Hub Monitor - U4025QW for gaming and productivity ?
is this one better than the samsung oddyssey oled g8? what is the difference?
Hey please help!
Which monitor would be the best value for money among the following?
-LG UltraGear 27GR83Q-B - 320 EUR
-MSI G274QPX - 450 EUR
-AOC AG274QG - 350 EUR
Does the ASUS have clearer text than the LG or are they both similarly good?
Will the ROG ACL01 desktop mount kit work?
can you do a comparison with the alien ware 4k 240 hz this ROG and the MSI?
They are practically the same all use the same panel from Samsung
@@nighthawk4933 I figured but I wanted to make sure one didn't have blacker blacks/ whiter whites or one having a better overall picture/ colors or performance.
Regarding the "semi-gloss" screen I'd really appreciate some further information on that. My current QNIX2710 matte monitor only reflects ME and it's a super vague black silhouette.
This is what I need in a monitor. I cannot have myself being reflected like in a mirror. It's super distracting and I hate it.
This thing looks worryingly like it will reflect my face back at me. Should I avoid?
What would be an alternative to consider with a matte coating but otherwise very similar performance and features?
This is to go with a 4090 and high end i7 processor new build and I was hoping to try out 4K.
I have this monitor. No it doesn't reflect like a mirror or TV. I have my living room behind me I can barely see reflections. It has something special I reckon. It's a good monitor but way too expensive.
SIMI-Gloss?
This monitor is 3. Gen but not the LG you mentioned?
what keyboard are you using?
What is the name of that CPU cooler you're using?
LG doesn't sell any QD-OLED displays. So the reason the 4k 240hz LG looked different wasn't just the Matte coating, its also using a WOLED panel which is not QD-OLED.... FYI.
42С3 is glossy
Are you going to test the Dell AW3225QF. And if so. Is the video soon ready? 😀
I'm a bit torn, look at @5:09 you can see the brightness of the ASUS hides detail, or if its supposed to be like this from a game developer's point of view then the LG reveals greater detail such as the leaves of the palm in front of the glass building on the left side of the image and buildings in the background that have parts barely visible on the bright Asus monitor.
I'll be eyeing that monitor when the 5090 drops! I have the Asus XG27AQM with the 3090 and it looks fantastic. Itching for 4K!
You forgot to mention this also has crop modes like the lg but at 240hz. Difference being the scaling is much better then the LG. So you can do 24.5" and 27" size.
If I have the ASUS PG32UQX, would this PG32UCDM be worth getting? I love the PG33UQX. The HDR is so SICC! I've never even seen an OLED image, so im not sure what to do here. Im running 4090 ROG STRIX, so 4k is pretty easy for me to run! Which monitir is better?
I'm in a similar boat. I just pre-ordered the LG....but idk if I would prefer a QD-OLED option like this monitor...
I currently have a glossy 27" WOLED, and so I don't know how a matte finished WOLED would look, nor do I know how a semi-glossy QD-OLED would look...
I can still cancel my LG pre-order and purchase something else....but there are no possible ways to see either monitors in person where I'm located in the US...
@NippleSauce no I have the ASUS PG32UQX with like 1700 nits of brightness using mini leds...it's like a $3,000 monitor. Tech Chap did a review in it like 2years ago. I want to know if it is worth it or not going to this new PG32UCDM
@@Coldgauge2k10 Your monitor is easy on the eyes and has an excellent picture. Yes, it does not have a 240Hz frequency. Whether you need this is up to you to decide.
Can you please do a 42 C2 vs C4 comparison for PC gaming?
thats too microscopic of a comparison tbh. a 2022 oled vs 2024 oled from LGs C class. the differences will be of course in brightness, image processing and you get 144hz with the C4 but i think as far as gaming goes the differences are not very palpable to make you go "uh i need to upgrade the C2 to C4".
@@th3orist Those minor improvements can add up to something significant pretty quickly.
@@giantpizzasunset2534 maybe if you add all minor improvements over four or five years but not from one year to the next. My pov
@@th3orist That's what i thought but I saw comparisons between the A90j and the C3. Surprisingly the LG, in many ways, surpassed sony's flagship model from two years ago. According to reviewers the C1 was nowhere near the A90j.
oh gosh you made me notice the power cord always there and now i can’t unsee it
I have the 27" PG27AQDM and that is my only nitpick with a otherwise perfect to me monitor.
I don't get that no one is mentioning this. You have an almost bezel less monitor, but ugly cables sticking out. Call me nuts but that is a reason for me not to buy this monitor.
Im looking for preferably a 24-inch monitor with 1ms response time, refresh rate because i use a rtx 4090, motion blur reduction, minimal ghosting, and variable refresh rate support. Good Color accuracy for games like Forza, Spiderman, and The Last of Us when im not playing competitive apex legends.
Can you help me
I´m waiting for the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM, here in Sweden it was first April 30, then May 30 and now July 1, when I can get one I will buy it.
Can you make a clip about optimize setting for game on this monitor?
Would if I had time! Sure there's loads of stuff out there
Not sure if this one will be better than the PG32UCDP. I’m buying one of them that’s for sure. I’ll be waiting on your video when it releases 👊
How were you able to get it? I see it’s sold out everywhere
Lol what do you think? He is a reviewer, Asus sent it out to him for him to review.
Waiting for 27 inch version. Ideally with KVM switch. That will be my true endgame monitor.
32 inch is not that big tbh. 27 feels like ass now
Has anyone heard anything about when Amazon or Newegg will have this back in stock?
I’m waiting for the PA32UCDM. Perfect HDR and SDR, it really does change the game, color accuracy and tracking is important
I mean, I currently have dual 32 inch 60 Hz refresh HD monitor for my set up. Yes it is a 1080P monitor and it’s a big 32 inch display so you could see the pixels. Definitely thinking about upgrading to a better monitor and this one was perfect because I did not want to compromise on the size of the display but at the same time I want a good quality display with high refresh rate. And this monitor fits everything 32 inches, 4K, 240 so high refresh rate. But the cherry on top is the fact that it’s an OLED which is a big deal because I can’t get over the fact that my main monitors for my main gaming PC set up are not sharp. And for other people, maybe they don’t really care or can’t even tell the difference but I could tell the difference due to the fact that I do daily drive a 15 ProMax, 23 M3 Max MacBook Pro 16in, 24 iPad Pro 13in, and an Ultra Watch. All these have OLED displays and definitely there’s a big difference between OLED and a regular non OLED display. But the price might be a little steep, but I’ll probably just buy one out of the two monitors and it will be my main monitor out of the 2.😊
Got this monitor. Anybody know how to put on the plastic logo projecting thing? Thanks in advance.
I'm waiting to see some reviews of the HP and Gigabyte monitors that use the same 32 inch panel before deciding if this is the year I finally treat myself to a new monitor. The MSI monitor seems to have decent features, but I really dislike the styling.
I use Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 and i think, it's a best choice for gaming, optimal resolution, ultrawide with big horizontal FOV, many frames on most videocards, what need more.)
Hello my friend This monitor has a speaker ?
but the price is to insane for a 4k oled monitor in Europe, this prices are just ridiculous, the same with the msi 4k oled.
you pay more so americans can pay less,
Yeah the MSI costs $949 in the US and the ASUS costs $1,299
Meanwhile here in Norway the equivalent exchange is $1,700 for the MSI and $1,800 for the ASUS.
@@thomasandersr in the Uk where I live asus is 1350£ and msi 1300£. I don't understand why in Europe the prices are just to high man. Like with that money you could of buy a tv oled 4k, a good laptop or something else. It's just a f monitor + they don't have 2.1 dp.
Agree with you, they are so expensive they cost the price of some previous gen OLED 65" TV. My theory is it's more expensive over here because EU has a mandatory 2 years warranty on new product sold. The cheapest I can find here in Belgium (when available) is 1515€ (1631$).
USA show prices without taxes, the highest average combined state and local sales tax rates is Louisiana with 9.86%. Which gives
1299$ + 9.86% = 1417$
Yes, that's in the most taxed states. It can go as low as 0 but that's an exception (only 4 states). Eyeballing it, the national average is around 6% or ~1 377$, so one could conclude that the ~254$ dollars difference left between me and the average US citizen, went... in a 2 years mandatory product warranty.
@@Oxygen.O2 true ma men + I'm not in a rush right now . I'm gonna wait a little longer to buy a 4k oled monitor or just go and buy the alienware which is much cheaper like 400£.
Anyone know where I can get a stand that isn’t that one? No mounts
Waiting mine to arrive to replace alienware 1st gen QD-oled
Finally we are catching up to CRT quality :D
Can you make a comparison with the LG W-OLED?
LG: fucked up EOTF in HDR, lower brightness, lower color gamut, no burn in warranty, no usb-c at $400 more (compared to msi qd oled)
Can you review the MSI?
I like how subtle the design of the LG is, feels way less gamer-y...in a good way compared to this
Remove the stand, turn off all monitor leds, put on vesa monitor arm and you have pro-er look than LG
What water cooler is that?
Does this monitor supprt KVM input switching using a keyboard?
Also, does it have HDMI eARC?
Hi, I have a question
Is this monitor (PG32UCDM) limited edition?
Because it is always out of stock and hard to get
Did they make enough of this monitor to buy?
theres high demand so it will take a few more months for restock, if youre not lucky enough soon you may need to wait like 4 or more months, you can always buy from scalpers now but its expensive like 500 dollars more than original price
How is this better than the MSI MPG 321URX or the Gigabyte Aorus F032U2 or U2P? I'll be waiting for your answer 😅
MSI doesn’t support firmware and isn’t calibrated as well as the this one. I personally have the UCDM and the hype is true. Incredible monitor. The gigabyte is interesting but who cares about DP 2.1 at the moment. No GPU can support it and even when they begin to we are going to be using DSC anyway. Not a big deal
It all depends what you want from monitor. I don't see a need for DP2.1 and I need something extra such as dolby support or ability to turn off all leds including power indicator. Panel is the same so its only matter of which extras you prefer.
@@904_nole2I have the mpg 321urx and it supports firmware update which I already did. Also I can assure you that my monitor is very well calibrated and the image is mind blowing. Absolutely perfect in my opinion. I wanted Asus I don t deny it but after I saw what msi is capable of I am very happy with the purchase!
Alienware is great Dolby out the box and brighter
@@NexGenTek no one cares about Dolby Vision, plus it’s curved. Which just looks awkward on a 32 inch IMO
The biggest issue for me is you can't find them for sale for Canada.

ROG Swift PG32UCDM 4K 240Hz QD-OLED vs MSI MAG 321URX QD-OLED Which is better for HDR & Gaming ??

I‘ll wait til next year when the 32“ 4K OLED hype is hopefully over and we get appropriate prices in Europe. Stick with my Inzone M9 and 65“ C1😊
Have it myself. I rly love it best monitor i ever got
Will I9 13900K and 7900XTX be ok to run games at 4K on this display?
And yeah,my local store price is 1500€.
Yes if you're not using ray tracing or path tracing, you'll have enough grunt for most titles at 4K 100+fps
If you're ok with a larger display I'd recommend a 55" Samsung S90C over this, otherwise this is your best option (get the cheapest 4K OLED 240hz you can buy imo)
Not really! It’ll be great just don’t expect to take full capability
Thanks!
I just got this monitor. Question, do we use DP or HDMI 2.1 for maximum performance? I run a 4090.
Dp 1.4 obviously
Please don't tell me you run a 4090 and have no clue what port to use
That game reminds of Ridge Racer 4.
wondering how well it will run on 7900xtx
Now review the AW one please!
1. THIS OR THE MIS MPG 321URX?
2. Is it safe to do work on this and or on the msi mpg 321urx?
3. Can you do a face of between this and the 32urx?? 😮
1) It doesn't matter its the same panel, you must answer if extras is worth 100-200 USD more to you.
2) Its OLED, you must understand how it works and it will burn in sooner or later but you have 3 years burn in warranty (both asus or msi)
3) No point, its pretty much the same panel.
First power cable I've seen that has ferrite chokes on it.. like wtf is that all about?
I'm still debating between these two monitors. as brightness and image definition, @4:33 which reflects reality? you can see in the Asus the clouds are brighter but the mountains are less visible than in the LG image. Also, the bottom right quarter of the screen on the Asus is much brighter than the LG, which reflects reality, is it a cloudy but bright day Or, is it a dark and gloomy day? If its dark and gloomy, then the LG likely best reflects real world circumstances. Without being able to ask the photographer, we have no way to know. Thats my dilemma, I want the most accurate image though I also want the monitor with best text clarity. And the lack of speakers on the Asus is major for me. The lack of USB C and Dolby Vision support by the LG is a bum too🤔 I also much prefer the look of the LG.
As someone who lives in the UK, I am instead planning on getting the Alienware AW3225QF. This monitor is stupidly priced here, as is the MSI alternative.
This monitor will only be avialable end of May un the UK. How come you already have one???
isnt 250 nits too low for desktop use ?
4:57 ALL, is this like a monitor setting that can be fixed with going to a different mode? cause the white really look blue on the LG, if this can be fixed LG would be more preferable, but if not ASUS looks way better
There are colour temp and picture presets that give you a warmer look if you want (same on the Asus)
I hope the PlayStation 6 and next Xbox can have Next generation graphics at 4K @ 120 frame rate.
I wonder how much the price will go down if it was 120Hz or even 60Hz. I mean, some people just need a monitor to watch HDR videos and those videos are at most 4K 60Hz.
The only issue is QD-Oled blacks are literally grey.. Hoping thes WOLEDs will be mecca this year
they are gray while you flash torch light at panel or sunlight while woleds have washed out colors no matter the condition kek.
i used to think that spending lots of money on monitor doesn't make much sense until, my purchased monitor lasted longer than any other part of my pc. Mine is Asus Tuf 2k 144hz since 2019. still hold up and work amazingly
Why the hell did you buy a 1080P (2K) monitor?
@@Battleneter back then, it was my so call "4k entry level" cause i can't afford real one yet.
I cannot find this monitor anywhere in the US
I am still tempted to just go all out for the Samsung QN900D which does 4K 240Hz. If it also did 8k 120hz, I would buy it. I highly doubt these OLED's are the same quality as the newer OLED tv's. I talked with a guy who tests tv's who used an OLED monitor a couple years ago, and he said it was trash picture quality
for HDR yes TVs will blow away the monitors, for SDR its a wash, but the guy was probably using a matte oled monitor which made him think it was trash vs TVs which makes sense as matte screens sap the life out of the picture.
... but it's not ultrawide - in gaming I find 21:9 1440p much more immersive than 16:9 4K.
Oh shit I have never got an OLD monitor because I always thought the text would look crappy but if that problem is fixed it might be the time to upgrade.
4K with 140ppi and upgraded sub pixel layout = text is tack sharp
Just hold on to your current monitor a little longer and you will have yourself an OLD monitor, far cheaper than buying one.
*Asus came out with a couple interesting new 16" OLED laptops, the S5606 ($1099, Intel) and the M5606 ($999, AMD). Curious what you think of these.*
Probably review them at some point - I'm interested too.
@@Thetechchap Thanks, I'll be watching! Had a chat with Asus and confirmed that the cheaper M5606 has a slot to upgrade memory from 16gb to 32gb and the more expensive S5606 does not (odd). The cheaper S5606 has slightly more keyboard travel (odd again), slightly smaller bezels, and is slightly dimmer (500 nits vs 600 nits). And of course the chipsets are different, as is the port selection. Overall, though, they're very close.
Good monitor, but the stand would be a problem for me because you can't push it all the way back on the table
stand is garbage thats why monitor arm for these big monitors is more preferred solution
My father is eighty years old. He is an elderly man and has a medical crutch. Is it possible for my father to use a modern smart phone. Are there any problems or drawbacks. Can you answer
