Thanks for the video, you and NBNHMR Have been helping me relearn Nagoriyuki. i used to use alot of old tech and my playstyle was closer to hotashi's minus the majority of the skill, which was fun, but could leave me getting blown out. however safe jumps and deadly set-ups look amazing to me. i cant wait to try these out in game. especially with nagoriyuki's new overhead low mix up that he has.

After comand grab you can 5p 236s - its beat mashing, if they block you can another grab, but but its not safe for reversals( but also you can bait reversals if press block after 5p)
It's risky but i usually Dust when i use a grab If you wait and start at the righ point it is uncounterable even with non overdrive invicibility and most people crouch after a grab (it obviously work only one time in high level match)

0:13 that's not a safejump the move was not active. You used a move that's too slow. How do you fix it? Stop pretending that safejumps are possible in strive because thats dbfz tech, not guilty gear tech so it doesn't work. You baited dp but you did weren't able to hit meaty. So you would lose to mashing. And against a sol player, that's basically death since he'll get frame advantage and throw you and you can't press a button otherwise you'll risk getting counterhit.

You can actually pick up ss -> CHs with 2k, but pushback is enormous, and damage suffers. Also timing's pretty small

Safejumps automatically bait reversals, and don't take a third of your blood meter

If you're being blocked, do a fukyo backwards then punish their attempted counter.
(As a Floor 9, can confirm this works 8/10 times)

It is a safejump, but requires manual timing
So you have to lab the timing yourself
