McGregor Blvd Fort Myers Florida | 4K Driving Tour

A tour of historic McGregor Blvd in Fort Myers, Florida.
The story of this road goes back to 1886, when Thomas & Mina Edison built their winter home in Fort Myers. They planted hundreds of palm trees along the dirt road (later named McGregor Blvd.) between downtown Fort Myers and their estate. Today, an estimated 1,800 royal palm trees line the boulevard, creating a scenic view and giving Fort Myers its nickname: "The City of Palms".
