Simmons CNC Blades For Cutting Foam

Simmons can provide cut to length reciprocating blades and welded continuous blades for all CNC and contour foam cutting machinery. Our full line of CNC blades is capable of cutting all types of foam. Simmons offers 4 unique edge profiles including Knife edge, V-Tooth, Flat Tooth and Micro-A.
When cutting soft, flexible foam, the Knife edge is the best choice to leave you with a smooth finish without creating any dust. Firmer foams will require a toothed blade. Sometimes you need a more aggressive blade to cut through the material, but you struggle to achieve the smooth finish of a Knife edge. In these situations, we encourage a Flat Tooth, which adds a honed edge to the V-Tooth, increasing the sharpness of the blade.
Remember, the lower the tooth count, the larger the tooth will be, making it a more aggressive blade. If you are cutting dense foam such as visco or memory foam, you may want to try our Micro-A, which is more aggressive than any V-Tooth blade would be.
