I was the drummer for four years in my HS Jazz Choir. I convinced my sister to try out. She sang this song, and absolutely killed it! I tear up every time I hear it.

This song makes me cry every time I hear it, even if I have heard it a thousand times. She is one of my top 5 fave vocalists, and is top 3 for sure. So sad that she can no longer sing. She's an angel. Try "Faithless Love" written by the great J.D. Souther who she dated for awhile. He is a big fave of mine too. You might want to check out some of his library as well

All of her songs are highest quality because, she was a complete perfectionist. She demanded that everything was just right regardless of what song or style she sang. Perfection personified.

this song was around during a painful "first love" break up and it used to rip my heart out. It still has that effect on me almost 45 years later. She sings it so emotionally and the lyrics are just incredible.

Melanie Safka recorded a cover of this in the nineties that's really good too.
Most of her later recordings are with Asylum records and don't seem to get pulled. Live versions of her songs also don't seem to get taken down

Biz you've fallen down the rabbit hole. There is just so much to explore while you are there. Give her cover of Hank Williams "I Can't Help It (If I'm Still in Love With You)" a look. It topped the country charts at the same time as "You're No Good" topped the Pop/Rock and R&B charts in 1975. Linda is the first artist to top 3 charts at the same time.

Dolly Parton once said there are three female singers that were the best (Linda Ronstadt, Barbra Streisand and Connie Smith). Dolly said all the others, including herself, were just pretending. I would add Dolly Parton and Karen Carpenter to the top tier.

Linda is my favorite singer. She did 2 albums with Dolly Parton and Emmy Lou Harris titled Trio and Trio 2. The blend of their voices is sublim. Worth a reaction..

On to Linda, I’ve seen this song many times and get the chills each time so I think it’s safe. 🤞 I hope Alison is another safe song as it’s one of my faves. It’s her cover of the Elvis Costello masterpiece. ❤
I want to help you help a new young artist to “Keep Great Music Alive.” No joke. This won’t get struck, demonetized or blocked. But it will give you goosebumps and chills. Last October I was introduced by algorithms to Tori Holub. She’s a 20 year old singing the songs of my youth and more. I’m 67, an OG Carpenters fan and Linda fan and and and. She is singing the songs of the 60’s - 80’s, mostly. Most of her videos are Shorts. But she does have 5 full length songs as audio and one full length video. The video she self produced. The audios were all professionally recorded. She’s on all the platforms but TT is where her big numbers are. Two of her Carpenters covers garnered over 1M views each. On CZcams not as many, sadly. I’m simply blown away and want to recommend her most recent song to you as a good starting point.
She covered the Ray Charles classic; Georgia On My Mind. It is however an all new arrangement done for Tori.

And, I'm pretty sure I was one of the people trying to get you to react to it, so I feel some responsibility for you 'wasting' your effort on the video . . . . it ain't right . . . .

I actually believe Linda's version of Crazy is better than Patsy Cline.
Capital Records is bad for pulling her songs. The ones not on Capitol stay up better. Also, fewer live ones get pulled
