I joined the Rollhard show earlier in the year at Bicester Heritage to check out some of the slammed, stanced, static and other modified cars that were on display and later watched the lowered cars leaving the show in style!

Alright I’m getting old, and everyone has different tastes, but lots of camber is up there for me with pop bang maps, embarrassing 🙈
I went to Tucked at the Circuit” as it was local to me. I left after an hour.
Don’t get me wrong some of the stuff done to the cars is technically impressive but not really for me. And a lot of the cars are just rubbish plane and simple (S line “locally hated” fiestas etc)

20 years ago I assumed it was people putting the wrong offset wheels on a lowered car and dealing with it because the rubber was good, or the wheels fit. I never thought it would be a desired look.
From the first day I saw a cambered car I always thought it looked like one of my hot wheels that was stepped on as a kid.
Absolutely. Why the fk would you want to do that to your car? Its ridiculous not only does it look 💩 the car will handle like a hovercraft
A little bit of positive camber on early race cars is cool to see like on the Bugatti's but yea this over the top negative camber now looks so bad 🤣

Fun fact about the Omega diesel, it came from the factory with the drivetrain from a BMW E34 525 TDS.
The only cars that are stumped by tiny imperfections in the road are slammed cars and it's funny to watch every time

I've noticed a distinct correlation between the ride height of these lowered cars and the IQ of the drivers.

Vauxhall Omega's are great cars (suggest new head gasket on purchase). Lowered they look phat, with a p-h Adam. I wish I still had one or could afford to project one.

Nearly all of these cars have an exhaust note that fits the dictionary definition of cacophony. I don't know how a driver of one of these cars could enjoy these sounds on a daily basis. The ones that backfire like a microwave bag of Orville Redenbacher's are even worse. There were a few nice-sounding drive-offs, but far too few.

@Technaudio just found a company called Carbon Weezel, they do a front splitter that looks like that, kind of ERA styled. No Idea what arches they are though 😄

Can't get my head around the idea of lowering a car. Presumably the makers of the car know more about it's performance than you do and adjusted it to the required height.
The 911's sound the best for me. Some great looking cars there but this camber thing just looks odd. each to their own.

Out of all them cars, we only had a handful of decent sounding cars . The rest are just pops and bangs shite maps or fart boxes. What's happened to the car scene over the past 10 yrs .

I might be getting old, but those bangs/farts and overall the noise of some exhausts is just too much lol. ( Also had a tuned Peugeot 208 GTi but stuck with the OEM Exhaust )
Some cars are really nice , some cars have a weird body kit and many cars are just too low lol. Not saying it's shit, everyone can do with their car as they please , that is totally fine. Just not hitting my taste ( which is fine ). I wanna use my car and not have to worry about stuff cause it is so or too low. x)

Lmit looks sh** and would handle like it's on ice in the wet as there's hardly any road contact. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't done for dangerous driving in an accident.

Low car design is non practical, even stupid. Every hole, stone, road-bumps , sidewalk, spike barrier ,
Sliding gate rail, scrubbed road, road cracks, just a flat tire...
Basically, a non perfect flat road , will badly damage the car .
The only low design should be applied on real racing cars as F1 .

Anyone who lowers a car is a tool. Car manufacturers pump shite loads of money and research into making cars handle best for the road, then a tool buys a lowering kit from ebay because he thinks it'll handle better.

Err not quite, they make the best versions of the cars for race, then jack em up and throw the most cost effective suspension at the production models. Look at any BTC car, they're all slammed to the ground on proper race suspension setups. Making a narrow minded statement like 'anyone who lowers a car is a tool' is in itself tool-ish, as even the manufacturers lower their cars.
