Physical bhakti seems all over the world .Mind is not being concentrated.Swamiji awares us to do bhakti with mind. We can do physical bhakti but With mind we do bhakti it is fruitful. Knowledge of something is different , but implementing it is different . We spend hours in physical worship , make pilgrimages but our fickle mind wanders away soon from the object of devotion . Physical involvement is necessary ; but more important is mental alignment to God with faith , surrender and loving adoration . God is happier with our mental attachment .

My Guruji has explained so well and in all the lectures he has said that cultivate right and correct belief in the intellect. Once it is done then it is very easy to control the mind. We all have knowledge but the reason we are not utilising the intellect because the belief is still not strong and we are getting trapped in Maya and postponing the path of Spirituality.
Utilise the three steps to empower the intellect
1. Shravan
2. Mannan
3. Nidhidhyasan
Surrender completely to Guru and God. Follow six rules of surrender and every moment analyse the thoughts and actions with these rules for self-improvement.
I guarantee you once you do it everyday then life changes completely. Mine changed and all because of my Guru Swami Mukundananada. I am so fortunate that I am his disciple and under his teaching everyday I am improving. Jai Siya Ram and Hare Krishna

Gaining knowledge is only part of the journey. True devotion lies in not just acquiring knowledge, but also deeply contemplating it and rigorously implementing it in our daily lives. It's about embodying the teachings and principles we've learned into our actions and behaviors. While reading, listening, and writing are important aspects, they only contribute to about half of our efforts. The other half is completed when we actively apply what we've learned in our day-to-day lives. This integration is what leads to true transformation and spiritual growth.
Very valuable knowledge for today's world. We are running around temples around the country as a checklist as if god is going to verify that and allow us to his divine abode after our time is over in this birth. He knows where our mind has been all the time. You cannot expect an ocean of divine bliss when you offer only a raindrop. Now that does not mean you have to give up everything and go on pilgrimage forever. Just keep watching where your mind is when you say you are doing physical bhakti. You can sit at home and engage in roop dhyan and see how much you can focus on god. Day by day practice it and make it a habit and get involved with more devotional service for the pleasure of god
Swamiji's logically way of explaining the topic is awesome. God asks us to give our mind and intellect. Our eternal father, our well wisher, care taker....asking us to give something, why there is a need to hesitate? Give it right away keeping staunch faith on Him. He will take care. But ask only one thing "God, give us only devotion so that we love you selflessly for your pleasure".

This bliss of this world is an illusion only, and we are spirits incapable of using our minds to control our senses. The intellect which we have received by His Grace ; should control the mind and offer it to God and keep God as our focal point .
Wow, mind blowing lecture! The three defects of our mind is anitya, where is gets attached and runs after the temporary things in life thinking that those our permanent, Anatma, where it thinks of itself as the body and not the soul, and dukheshu, or desires for material things that only results in miseries. In order to free ourselves of all these we need to surrender our minds to God, physical practices or austerities are not important, they are there to help us train our minds so we can engage our minds to God and in addition to our minds, we need to surrender our intellect as well. Cant wait to hear more about the process!

The part where it's described that the intellect is not fully resolved makes me feel humbled that this is a journey and I have to keep making steady progress. Such an impactful video overall! Among all the internal machinery we possess, the intellect is supreme. The beliefs we hold in our intellect can control the functioning of our mind. But our intellect has its own limitations; the knowledge it holds is subject to four kinds of defects: karanapatav, bhrama, pramada and vipralipsa. With so many defects inherent, we cannot rely on our intellect that it will take our mind on the right path. The best way is to connect our intellect with a flawless source, that is, with God and a bona fide Guru. हरि भक्ति नौका पै गोविन्द राधे। बैठ जा पतवार हरि को थमा दे।। हरि यदि थामे न तो गोविन्द राधे। पतवार गुरुदेव कर में थमा दे ।।
