Well, the bee’s and I got up at the crack of dawn this morning. I recently purchased the Beastcam app for my iPhone 12 Pro and wanted to upload some test footage. So far, I am very happy with the app. It has full manual control with the exception of aperture. You can’t do aperture on a cel phone because of the fixed lens. I you want that wonderful bokeh, invest in one of their lenses that you can attach to your iPhone with the Beastcam Beastcage $139.99. They have a variety of lenses and I have my eye on the Wide-Angle Lens with Macro and the 2X Tele Conversion Lens. The price of the Beastcam app is $14.99. If you are tossing and turning about spending the money on the phone you spent $1000 for, I don’t know what to say except… just do it. Your particular needs might be for a different camera app. FilMic Pro, Mavis, Movie Pro, ProMovie Recorder, and ProCamera are other options.
Don’t freak out like I did when you don’t see your footage on the Photos folder on your iPhone. Open the Gallery on the BeastCam App and save the files (select all) to the camera roll.
