I know that song when you were in the forest level, Darby. It was from Super Mario RPG, it was called Forest Maze. My favorite Mario game of all-time. The Hammer suit was my favorite power-up.

Heres Something Cool:The Tanooki Power-Up Was Going To Be In SMW But It Ended Up Being Scapped But We Have Some Screenshots With Mario Using The Tanooki Power As Well Some Unused Sprites In The Files Of The Game
Oh really. I always thought it was the raccoon suit that almost made it to SMW. I could be wrong. But for some reason I always thought it was the super leaf not the tanooki. Either way, would have been cool
@@BlueTelevisionGames I think it was the super leaf too, I mean, we both saw the Beta64 video that came out years ago.
It always seemed to me like the cape was just a reskin of the raccoon tail. They both do the same basic moves (flight and spinning side attack). The cape might have a couple more moves (swoop gliding and ground pound), but they're essentially the same.
A bit difficult, but it looks like a very polished hack. Great Video :)

Yah. Same. There's a lot of enemies to dodge. The made it pretty tricky to get the power ups
I love Beware the forests mushrooms, which played. in the level that Darby got the tanooki suit, also it is from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the 7 Stars.
So cool to see a rom hack again. Just like we saw often in the past on this channel. This game looked really good too. I just wished there were more blocks containing power ups in each level, so you have more opportunities getting the new power ups. But it's still awesome though!
I wish to see more classic rom hack videos like this! Maybe even together with Lair again😁

According to the page on SMW Central, Peach being Iggy's teacher is a reference to the Super Mario World cartoon, being a reference to the episode, A Little Learning.
What a neat hack Darby! Whoever made it did a really good job! You did a great job of playing it dude! I just wish that I wasn't currently having a lot of difficulties with getting the video part of youtube and other videos to play on my HP laptop. Things not two years that I've had it. Keep up your great work with playing these cool hacks man.

I think I noticed something Maybe the power ups you got that were custom maybe it’s because of the music because remember in the second level there was Mario 3d land for 3ds it had tanoki suit in it mario 3D land so maybe the power up or no power up because of the music but that’s what I think

actually in 3d mario games like 3d world and 3d land the tanooki suit {doesn't have the statue move and simply replaces raccoon mario} does not allow you to fly so i guess this is being faithful to the 3d land version

The level with Flying Beetles you were wondering about the music, it's the same Yoshi's Island music but remixed a bit and it felt odd to see Rocket Boots change the color of overalls than the shoes to me. Bubble Mario was the most interesting power up for me!

What’s with the Bubble Flower? This new power up was JUST revealed today for Super Mario Bros Wonder, but it’s in this ROM hack first. Color, function, everything’s the exact same. How is that possible? Can someone tell me if it’s like an unused power up from a past game or something? I’d really like to know.
