Brilliant video again master piece. Thanks to u i can see that course was beautiful and u and majority of peoples enjoyed it. U even catch me passing u on video I did not spot u I knew u will be there somewhere but I was so focused for this run that I don’t remember most of parts of that race. For me it was blurry tunnel. Target was beating my PB by 1-2 minutes and I done it with almost 6 minutes. Plan for run was find someone running similar speed in front of me, speed up catch him rest for another 2-3 minutes behind and find next target. And it work but I didn’t enjoy any views, or interact with anyone. Thanks to your video I can see it was fun and beautiful race. Thanks Stephen again!

We call those pace bunnies over here in Canada. There's a 10-1 bunny and a straight through bunny. Fun days indeed.

Can you not put some tape on the nips to help with friction? 😂 I’m impressed that you do these races carrying a camera on a stick! Well done! Love seeing the arial views of our beautiful homeland ! Your enthusiasm is encouraging me to get out there 😁

I was over eager sending my message.. I sent it before I got to the end ! Then I heard you mention you forgot the tape and then I seen your bleeding shirt 😵💫😱 I bet that’s a lesson learned right! Congrats though!
Just seen your post about the fury dead mice 🤣 sorry wind jammers. So here is my tip for you to save that bleeding again, plasters and stickers etc will come off with sweat. Best thing is go into Boots chemist or somewhere and get yourself a tube of Lanacane anti chaffe gel (normally marketed for women). Ive used this on countless long runs and marathins for the last 3 years and still on my first tube
I have special tape that normally stays on for days, totally forgot it 😭😭 maybe I should try that gel!

True, very different kind of race now. Part of me liked the hill, but flattening the course has gotten NI a lot of international attention.

I’ve been there with the nipples…the after-race shower is 😆
I trundled around and really enjoyed it as my running is normally a solitary activity, fantastic atmosphere, we live in a beautiful place, living and training at the back of Slemish I sometimes take it for granted.
Start was a bit of a pain, but soon forgotten once we were away.
