I have seen male classical singers earlier too, and regular singers without classical knowledge sing .
Javelin Ali out beats all of the present .He has good knowledge in Classical , and Bollywood must utilize his talents for Classical Gharana , Sufi and variety of songs . He is a pleasure to watch .Any other singer male or female singing with him are easily out beaten and don’t stand a chance

Javed ali is an Underrated singer who give us many beautiful songs but due to gangism in bollywood many talented singers career is in dark.

For me -- the feeling of listening to soulful music is like embarking on an eternal voyage in a dinghy on a moonlit night in a deep blue sea with solitude and a cool breeze to give company ! The great Muhammad Rafi Saab was the synonym of soft, soothing, and soulful music ! Whereas, the great Mehdi Hassan Saab was a singer par excellence and was in a class all by himself ! He had given Ghazal Gayiki a pedestal which will be difficult to surpass ! The great Jagjit Singh Saab was instrumental in popularising ghazal gayiki in the length and breadth of the country ! He had modernized the ghazal gayiki by making it intelligible to the common man ! Recreation of epoch-making masterpieces of these stalwarts by Javed Ali Saab can be construed as a noble endeavour and as such, it deserves appreciation ! I use to think that he is like Sonu Nigam. After watching I realised that the only similarity it that they are both classically trained maestros in their own right and can sing Md. Rafi confidently. His voice has different texture and appeal altogether
