Through this Honor Walk, we honor the bravery, dedication, and compassion of Deputy Nees. His spirit lives on in the lives he's saved and in the hearts of many in the community.
May we all join together in remembrance and in everlasting gratitude for those who gave the ultimate gift - the gift of life.
I’m so sorry for his loss. He didn’t get enough time to put miles on his soul, but he will live on. Rest In Peace, Good Sir. Thank you for your service 🙏🏻💙🖤💙🙏🏻
I met Jake when he was a little boy, and if he was anything like his parents which I'm sure he was, he was one great man and would have been a great police officer. My heart goes out to Paul and Deb, no words can really Express what they are going through. His legacy will live on both through organ donation and through the Brotherhood of both the red and the blue.

I grew up as a small boy seeing Jacob weekly. Goofiest and sweetest boy with mop hair. His father Paul is an incredible man and my heart goes out to his family.

So honored today to witness Jacob being a hero through organ and tissue donation, meeting a wonderful donor family, watching unbelievable support by the police and fire department community and that many of our staff were able to be part of an honor walk at Lifebanc…. A day to always remember.

I can not imagine how hard this must be. I was a Dialysis Nurse and saw how important donation can be and how it can give a person back their life. Please know, taking them with you does nothing but donation saves so many others. It's a gift that only you and your family can give.

I happened to see this by accident, and it is the saddest story, then to take something that is so sad, and give it this beautiful ending, is just amazing., THis man gave all , even in the end. what true hero. forever. Very sad though
i sit at home all the time, because of a back injury, and I watch all kids of you tube. This story, made me cry, and its just sad, and loosing a true hero, that gave all.
