  • Thank you for watching our son, Nate's Honor Walk. Our family has been so inspired by the outpouring of love for Nate and by Nate himself and the support that he offered others, that we started a non-profit, 501c3, in his name called, Nate's Place, A Wellness and Recovery Center.
Please watch this very short second video to learn a bit more about Nate, how he died, his life and the non-profit: • Video
If you are so inspired, please also look at our Betterworld fundraising site: natesplace.betterworld.org/ca...
Please become an organ donor to save lives!!!
Thank you for sharing this with others if you feel inspired to!!
    Warmly,
The Family and Friends of Nate Rhoades

Rip Nate. I received a kidney in 2018 all because of a hero like you. And thanks to that hero, I'm 38 weeks pregnant and expecting my first child made possible only by people like you. Thank you.

When his football buddies and friends patted him and told him they loved him, that broke me, I was hanging in there until then. What a terrific guy he must have been.

And we all seem to complain over the trivial things in life. All i can say is this..god blessed me with 71 yrs of life, ive been close to death many times, yet im still here. Consider yourselves lucky when we watch sad videos of young innocent beautiful souls leaving us too early, and above all when you feel the need to complain about the little things in life that you can overcome unlike this one? Look back at this story and count your blessings.😢.and never forget to pray everyday for your friends, family, strangers and even your enemies..thank god for helping you with your day, helping you sleep and thanking him for waking you up to see another day. And help your neighbor a homeless person or anyone thats struggling cause god will bless you 10 fold.and hes watching us all so do it with a kind heart.. does god exist? Trust what im saying, cause yes he does.. he appeared to me in 1975.

Losing a child was the hardest thing I have ever experienced. It has been 23+ years and sometimes I still lose my breath. I am so very sorry for your loss.

My 17 year old brother donated his organs in 2004 after being declared brain dead. They didn’t offer an honor walk then , I really wish they had. This is a beautiful tribute and send off for the organ donor, their families and friends. This young man was deeply respected and loved by many. I don’t know him or his reason for passing but I do know he is a hero through the gift of organ donation!!

A beautiful poem: For Nathan Rhoades. God Saw Nathan getting tired, when a cure was not to be. He wrapped his loving arms around him, and whispered come to me. He didn’t deserve what he went through,so God gave him needed rest. Gods garden must be beautiful. Because he only takes the best💐. Rest in heavenly peace dear Nathan .

This has reached Perth Western Australia - as I just watched this amazing send off for a complete stranger. I shed over five minutes of heart wrenching tears for Nate, whom I didn't know - but aren't we all connected through these amazing gifts.

  • @Misfit9405

I cried my eyes out watching Nate's last walk. RIP Nate. Thank You for being a Hero 😢
