    Put it this way if the internet goes down sonos becomes a big expensive paper weight where as soundtouch can rely on Bluetooth and aux all while still being grouped together on the Wi-Fi network streaming music from your phone
    That for me puts bose on top

    I got the sound touch 20 and it amazing bass is perfect

  • @luisarriola01

    Hahaha! How much did sonos pay you? Its obvious that you are really bias... When you try to be non bias you look really bad! I have sonos but i have used soundtouch 20 and i dont know why you cant play the soundtouch via wifi... Probably its beacause you dont know about technology

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety

      +Wicho Arriola lol listen to what I said u can play via WiFi. However u are not able to play music from your phone via WiFi. Also the music which I was playing was non copyrighted because I’m paying for the service. So I hand no choice but play that music via my phone. Oh and by the way no-one is paying me!

    Wtf??!!! Not enough bass on the st20? Mate it allows you to turn it down because it might be too much bass. You are demanding if you think it’s not enough

  • @jasonm6111
    @jasonm6111 Před 6 lety +5

    Bias review. Do not subscribe people. I mean he downplayed Bose from the get go. Both speakers are good.i have both of them. I like them equally. And YES you can control Bose ST20 with your phone while it connected to WiFi. WTF!! I can change the presets right from my iPhone to listen to different stations.....and it’s on WiFi.

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety

      +jason M Yes the stations, but not your music which is downloaded to your phone, my good sir ;).

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety

      Please make sure to correct me if you can do that. Also please find out how to add more base and treble on the Bose speakers. I know the truth hurts, but sometime we must face the facts.

    • @jasonm6111
      @jasonm6111 Před 6 lety

      KosherTech - the treble is always there. The bass can get too deep depending what music you play. It still sounds balanced when you cut down the bass. And as for controlling the speaker from your phone over WiFi, of course it can be done. I don’t walk to my speaker every time I want to adjust the volume or change the presets. I have two Bose SoundTouch and two sonos play 5. Both is awesome. Sonos just don’t have presets where Bose has it and can be change with your remote or your phone app when your remote is not near you. Sorry bro, you gotta dig deeper on your products before you drop a review. Don’t rush to get subscribers.

      KosherTech Lmao. Bluetooth homey Bluetooth. I play all my Apple Music thru Bluetooth. iPhone 8 has a new Bluetooth 5.0. Which has a better connection than the older version.

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety

      The bass can’t be controlled idk what u mean by too deeper don’t make excuses for Bose. I would like to make the judgement myself, thus having the ability to control it Base.

    @Estradinhas_do_ES Před 6 lety

    Do not need a speaker like Sonos or Bose to play that music...I am looking for sources to help me decide and a comment here was spot on and helped me decide: you can always have bluetooth...

      I am not sure on what you are asking? Go with whatever works best for your life style.

  • @LieDetectorMusic

    The Sonos "go out there and get it" and that is how you conduct a bias review.

    • @LenLangevin
      @LenLangevin Před 5 lety

      The whole point of a review - particularly a comparison is to show a bias. Not everyone has to agree with the bias, but what would be the point of a product comparison without expressing an opinion?

  • @jasonm6111
    @jasonm6111 Před 6 lety +3

    Ok. I understand what you saying. ....... but what if you lost signal for your WiFi temporarily because your internet went down? No Bluetooth for sonos, no music can be heard. There are advantages for both sides.

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety

      True fair point, but what if someone calls u your music stops playing or you’re too fair to connect to the speaker you get my point. But regardless like I said in my vid, if u use the Bluetooth than buy Bose, if u are like me and don’t care one bit about Bluetooth and like the overall full usability with the app than buy Sonos. Btw don’t hate and hit that sub button lol

    • @faizaljr481
      @faizaljr481 Před 5 lety

      I have sonos system, i still can play music from my phone even if the internet isn't working, you still control sonos while your internet went down you just can use the features that involve internet connectivity like online streaming, radio etc

  • @Sinxx08
    @Sinxx08 Před 6 lety

    You do sound extremely bias from the very beginning. Though, one question.
    Can you play music without the app?

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety

      Cereno Simoes Yes u can. For me I use Spotify and play music directly from there to my Sonos speakers.

    I currently have a Play 3 surround for a 5.1 setup, but I am thinking of selling them and going with Play 1 surround instead. Do you think this is worth the hassle? Is there a big difference in sound quality?

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety +1

      eign Why would you do that? just keep the play 3’s. Since they were your first speakers you will notices a difference. Remember the Play 1 only has 1 speaker driver & the play 3 has two, so yeah you will most likely notice a difference. My 5.1 setup is with two play 5’s if I were to switch them to 3’s or 1’s I would definitely notices the difference. My suggestion is stick with the 3’s, but do let me know why you would want to sell them.

    • @irwin770
      @irwin770 Před 6 lety

      Thanks for the reply,I thought they are around the same sound quality. Honestly, I think I'll keep them, not really worth the hassle of selling and they work real well. Like you said, if I downgrade, I will notice a difference and will end up regretting this decision.

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety +1

      Thanks for the comment. Yeah best bet is just to keep them they are awesome speakers. Get an Amazon Eco, Alexa works with SONOS speakers, which is pretty cool. I just got my new SONOS One and a review is coming soon. Amazon and SONOS did a awesome thing by collaborating, their speaker with Alexa is AWESOME!

    The reason you can't play from your phone to the bose over Wi-Fi is because you don't know how! Plus you get a remote to control from across the room,pause, play, volume, change presets, and source. You need to learn a product to review it.

    • @KosherTech
      @KosherTech  Před 6 lety

      Steven since you know how can u tell me please? Oh btw I am trying to play songs from my phone to the Bose speakers, and the songs which I’m trying to play is downloaded to my phone. Seems like u known the answer, can u walk me through it?

    • @steven3379
      @steven3379 Před 6 lety

      KosherTech As the reviewer, that is your job, to learn how to use the equipment before you do the review.
