Yes its normal paint, i did it to make the airvents even darker without any "refections" from the inside.
I always enjoy watching you build these speaker boxes.
Most people would buy pre-packaged stuff and assemble it.
You always make literally everything from scratch or take apart other devices to fill your needs.

I don't know nothing about circuit boards but I decided that I will build my BOOMBOX no matter what. I am a full time carpenter and good with hand tools and wood. The only thing I will have to acquire knowledge is soldering and schematics (electrical). Thank you for sharing your work with all of us.

I'm impressed with the BassFace products, although I wish I'd bought more pre price hike. I have a pair of the SPL 69.1 in a boom box - 2 1.1 cubic feet enclosures tuned to 50Hz with twin 2.5" ports in each box. Good bass output and nice mids and highs with only the single dome tweeter, rather than 2 or 3 tweeters with clashing frequency range as is common on budget 6 x 9 drivers.
Really beautifully made 👌 still amazing that this little amplifier can bring this power 😮

if you made a shared chamber maybe you could of saved a little bit of internal space, with just a small brace, and make one big port, might of got more deeper frequency.. and you haven't showed if you add any acoustic material, or polyfill, it could make the bass a little deeper

Looking for some help with my build electrical wise, I'm using an old car head unit and 2 pioneer 2 way speakers. The power sauce I'm using is 2 x 7.4 lipos connected in series so there is 14.8v I've connected these to a buck converter and dilled the voltage down to 12v these are powering the system for a little close to 3 hrs. So I'm thinking of using a 12v 7ah motorbike battery. If I connect the radio negative lead to negative of the battery and the memory lead yellow to positive do I need to put inline switch on the red lead to the battery to kill power before charging it wanting it to be a sealed unit
Yes, to turn the radio off you will need always a switch in the positive wire (red), if you keep the ignicion wire (yellow) always connected it will save your date/hour and radio setthings but it will also draw some current.
@@DTeK thanks mate, so I can keep the 12v battery inclosed in the box turn the power off the radio will still keep its memory and I can plug in a wall charger to top the motorbike battery up

Very good work, especially for the case, best Ive seen so far. But amplifier, crossover and speaker wasnt the best coise... something with dsp would make a big difference
Those speakers have low bass, i will change them in the future

And Sure DSP with Bluetooth Module and 3x 200W@3Ohms Amplifier
But its not my final configuration
