I got tired just seeing the hard work it took. The box was very beautiful and without commercial price.
That's a pretty neat speaker system if I say so - one of the best builds I've seen :)
Only other thing I would have done was wired up the FM & 4G aerials up for radio/data.
FM would have come in handy if he had any local drive-in movie theaters still.
Get this out, enjoy it in some camping chairs. Everyone would hear the movie very easily. :)

14:15 Although that type of foam looks nice, it's not the right type for a speaker cabinet. You should stuff the box with spun fiberglass insulation or polyfill (like on the inside of a pillow) as that makes the speaker think the box is larger and therefore produce more low end. This type of foam will actually harm bass response by reducing the box volume. Although it might prevent some standing waves if there are any, but I doubt that would be a problem in this type of box.

Great attention to details. I liked the cable holders. The acoustic linings. U using fire for shrink tubes was a bit worrying. Then later u changed to soldering iron!

How long does the battery last at full volume? And how many volts and amps is it using?
Build quality 100% great build.
Only thing i would have changed if i build it myself is add a horizontal wooden plank between the speakers so i can give the lower 2 speakers only low bass and the top speakers nothing below 100hz.
With that 4 channel car radio it must be pretty easy to just use the digital crossover for the ""rear"" and ""front"" channels to achieve this and change the settings whenever you want.
In my experience it wil improve how loud you can play without distortion from to much bass on higher volumes, also more headroom to improve the midbass and midrange with an equalizer for the soundtuning you prefer (thats offcourse different taste for everybody)
Anyway still great build 10/10

good rule of thumb is double the woofer volume in radiators. so a 6in woofer would need 2 - 6in radiators or one 12in radiator

This is AWESOME !!!!! What I love more than anything here. He built a beautiful speaker cabinet without using any of the expensive power tools that most of the other DIY channels like to use in their videos. I mean really. Most of us don't have the arsenal of equipment they use, and by the time you purchase the equipment and parts, you may as well have bought a new speaker from the store and save yourself the work. BUT! THIS GUY! Oh yeah, this man uses the most basic of equipment that anyone who rents or own a home have in a drawer somewhere. A simple screwdriver, a file, some sandpaper and 1 electric drill. Look how beautiful this turned out. The most complex tool in this whole video was his multitool (cant tell if its a Gerber or Leatherman). Even the wiring diagram is easy to follow. Fantastic! Now this is a proper Do It Yourself video.

Я выше писал. Фанера 10ка. Да и ящик очень большой. Откуда ж с таким хлипким ящиком взяться звуку? Баловство. Сделано необычно, может даже интересно, а на деле шляпа. Нормальные ящики делаются из фанеры не менее 20 мм и все в перемычках внутри а здесь с этим беда....
Просто мало силикона и горячего клея)))

increase voltage for the headunit to 14.4-14.6v for better lifespan, less distorsion and more power.
Could use 14v but i didn´t find any difference so i keep it at 12.8v

Good bass requires a lot of speaker volume. A third of your volume does not work for you. In order to get good low frequencies, all baffles must be removed. Install a narrow cross-brace. So that the walls of the box do not vibrate. Change 4 small speakers to 1 large 10 "-15" with bass reflex. Instead of speakers for high frequencies, put a professional tweeter with a horn. The little ones will burn out quickly. Switch on the low frequency amplifier in a bridge circuit. The high and low frequencies are divided by an electronic crossover. The subwoofer and tweeter are fed with a signal from separate low frequency amplifiers. Then you can get good low frequencies, good sound quality. So far, I see imitation low frequencies and medium quality sound.
