TalI's awesome yet again, she can break the ice with just anyone. Even Javik appreciates her. Give her a day with Harbinger and the Reapers will question their purpose.
@@TheLizardWizard_the2nd It is a post-credits thing, he tells you he will go honor his men's memory, then join them when spoken to on earth as you've likely seen by this point.
Next Mass Effect game: We play as Javik in the midst of the reaper war. We go from his beginning to when he ended up in the stasis pod. That would be an awesome game.
First time I played, I let him touch the shard. I thought it'd help him get over his problems, but then it transpires that he commits suicide instead of helping Liara write her book.
Yeah. He says he wants to during the final mission on Earth if you convinced him to look into his memory shard he says after the final battle he wants to go to the grave-sites of his former comrades and take his own life to be with them. However if you don't pursue the memory shard, he says that he'd like to see what peace looks like and offers to shake your hand as well during the final mission.
I tell Javik to not look at the shard. At the end of mass effect 3 he claims that he is looking forward to seeing peace and writing a book with Liara. In other words he lives and does not go commit suicide with the rest of his crew. So because of that action i hope we will be in Mass effect 4.
The problem was they kept changing their directors for the game, who changed, added or scrapped other ideas. For three years straight. The production of the game itself only lasted about a year and a half.
If Miranda survived Sanctuary, she gets drunk too, she just says different thing, if she died she says this for example: "... and... I wish she was here".
Javik: Seriously, Shepard, when you see the blue little kid...just turn around and walk away man. that's like their secret weapon...your head gets so full of fuck you just dont give a shit about the reapers anymore, you just want it all to end.
Javik is the Prothean, only he would ultimately fail his mission. his rank was commander he was one of the Protheans best soldiers and traveled the galaxy in a small highly mobile ship with a loyal crew. And contented with a group of sepretist that believed in controlling the Reapers. The prothean VI said history is cyclical after all.
If the cycle was lost and cryogenics was the last resort to warn the Reapers and yes Shepard was in that predicament he would be the Javik of the next cycle.
No, Javik would find his Holographic Teddy Bear, and then Ritually dismember it in front of him while he cries and begs for him to stop pulling off his limbs.
If you make him see his memory shard, towards the end as you say goodbye to your crew he says he plans on joining the comrades he killed. He doesn't kill himself, but he plans to.
On Thessia he tells them toward the end, the Reapers sent their children for them thinking they would not kill them, Shepard asks what did you do, Javic's reply was what would you like to hear. This is what has hardened him, your friends, relatives, and children have been turned into weapons against you, causing you to either kill them or die at their hands. "War is atrocity committed in the name of survival" is a great explanation for his past
he's ALWAYS one of those people for me. Honestly I've imported 3 saves and on each one he came out. It's like BioWare wanted to say "Look, the DLC character even impacts the ending!"
See? The endings aren't so bad when you think about them. THAT'S what the endings were there for. To make fans actually ponder (like we just did) over them. Now my only problem is which choice. >:(
Well we won't know that for sure if ever, or BioWare's ME3 team does release this Extended cut dlc come summer. In my eyes: Remains to be seen. And in reference to Javik, pun intended. xD
I think its what the star child sayed this but. Every cycle is the same. But it is not always 100 percent the same. Javik can still be the shepard of his cycle. He just failed because he was not born sooner.
"War is an atrocity committed in the name of survival".... So true, this applies to real life. MA3 is one of those games that lets you think philosophically. IMO that what makes games that much better.
Is the reason for his accent being what it is to resemble the accents of Native Sumerians' language? Sumerian was the first known language and known civilization, I believe. To be like a metaphor because his people and Sumerians existed thousands of years ago?
If that's the case, why did it give Shepard the choice to destroy the Reapers. In what way does that preserve organic life? It probably feels that now the organics have built Crucible are resourceful enough to find their own solution (hence the 'control' option). Destroy and Control were humanity's solutions, which is why it lets Shepard choose between them. Synthesis is the Catalyst's solution. The Catalyst is smart enough to realize that this cycle have outwitted him.
Heh. Well I think it's a matter of pursuing the matter on his memory shard to convince him to view into it. I'll only do it just to see the whole thing and see what his thoughts are on it and the aftermath. Afterwords I'll just reload my last save before I convince him to look into the shard. This way after I've reloaded the file he'll not want to commit suicide, for not having looked into his memory shard.
Mass Effect: making you think about the meaning of life since 2007
ummm monty python covered that already
if only javik could be recruited in mass effect 2, i would have loved to see what he had to say about the collectors
TalI's awesome yet again, she can break the ice with just anyone. Even Javik appreciates her. Give her a day with Harbinger and the Reapers will question their purpose.
"Sharpen your knife, kommanda"
Even if he'd never seen an unmasked quarian, those hips of hers would be enough to get any straight male curious.
He likes Zaeed too, said he was a prothean in disguise.
I never let Javik see those memories, because if he does he will end up committing suicide later on.
Holly Travers that's unfortunate
fffuuuuuccckkk thaaat
the Last Voice of the Protheans has spoken
Wow! I had no idea this choice makes actual impact on him. That's a shame, cause I talked him into watching it...
@@TheLizardWizard_the2nd It is a post-credits thing, he tells you he will go honor his men's memory, then join them when spoken to on earth as you've likely seen by this point.
I made it a point to visit every character after every mission...and there's still so much dialouge I've missed.
*Talk about liara*
Tali: I'm sorry you had to-
Javic: Throw it out the airlock ಠಠ_ಠಠ
Tali, forever the angel of mercy.
Well if Javik was the Shepard of his cycle, and failed, what he went through was still better than going through ME3's ending.
They resurrected you to faight da Reapahs ಠಠ_ಠಠ
Realising that the Ironborns Drowned god prey suits Shepherds situation perfectly "What is dead may never die. But rises again, harder and stronger"
4:14 Javik: It was the day I understood: Ostornados is online.
Javik metions my relationship with tali at this part. He says" you and the Quarian are...joined?" "you could say that" "i'm not...your pheromones are"
I believe talking to him before talking to Tali does this.
Next Mass Effect game: We play as Javik in the midst of the reaper war. We go from his beginning to when he ended up in the stasis pod. That would be an awesome game.
It was the day I understood: ostornados is now online.
Seriously though, I answered that question honestly..I never had him touch the shard.
Exactly. Because he's been convinced to try and see what peace looks like.
Good to know that Javik doesn't see himself as superior to everyone else all the time.
Looks like a case of Five gum.
First time I played, I let him touch the shard. I thought it'd help him get over his problems, but then it transpires that he commits suicide instead of helping Liara write her book.
Javik: Your sympothy is not necessary quarian, I throwed it out of the airlock
javik: you died in that attack
shepard: pfff, wuz nuthin
Now I'm glad I told him not to touch the shard.
His suit would protect against most environmental hazards for a short while.
Not to mention he's stranded on a random forest planet with joker, garrus, liara, and the others lol.
you are right. Emo Javik was too sad, if he doesn't touch the shard he will write a book with Liara, which is nice
Don't forget he's the last of his species that's not a collector.
Javik used to have a ship like the Normandy. In other words, Javik was the Shepard of his cycle... but he failed =O
I tell Javik to not look at the shard. At the end of mass effect 3 he claims that he is looking forward to seeing peace and writing a book with Liara. In other words he lives and does not go commit suicide with the rest of his crew. So because of that action i hope we will be in Mass effect 4.
Andromeda says hi.
Bioware fucked us all.
The problem was they kept changing their directors for the game, who changed, added or scrapped other ideas. For three years straight. The production of the game itself only lasted about a year and a half.
Javik has a Vietnam flashback
If Miranda survived Sanctuary, she gets drunk too, she just says different thing, if she died she says this for example: "... and... I wish she was here".
DON'T TELL HIM TO TOUCH THE SHARD!
I really like that quote about war.
"The crew seems to enjoy staring at me."
Javik: Seriously, Shepard, when you see the blue little kid...just turn around and walk away man. that's like their secret weapon...your head gets so full of fuck you just dont give a shit about the reapers anymore, you just want it all to end.
shepeard says to javik what should i do with the god child? javik says blow it out the airlock
'They used to eat flies...'
What does it matter. he survives with your crew on a lonely planet. He did not die.
indeed. You fight the reapers during the prothean cicle, there's a lot of potential for that.
True... Unless he dies via Harbinger's beam attacks in the final run.
Psh, he'd just throw the God Child out the airlock.
gold, just pure gold!!
Funny because if you take him to the Geth Dreadnought on Tali's mission. He doesn't wear a helmet inside the airlock.
Also, this was REALLY funny when Tali was drunk :p
Collectors. Buzz buzz buzz.
Garrus: I got my calibrations finished, and you turned this damn thing off!
Tali: I still got my shotgun.
Sometimes I wish the protheans won the war against the reapers.
Shepard: Nice
Garrus: Ooh that's nasty
Tali: It was time to Ki'la Bitch!!!
ME GUSTA ಠಠ_ಠಠ
If the cycle was lost and cryogenics was the last resort to warn the Reapers and yes Shepard was in that predicament he would be the Javik of the next cycle.
So essentially Javik is the Prothean Commander Shepard :D
I think he might live if you convince him not to.
OMG HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!????
Then we wouldn't have 3 awesome colours to chose from to destroy the galaxy with!
more understandable rather than random. It further explains the origin of the Reapers.
he commits suicide by throwing himself out of the airlock
No, Javik would find his Holographic Teddy Bear, and then Ritually dismember it in front of him while he cries and begs for him to stop pulling off his limbs.
My Racist Javik: Friendships are Useful
Hearing him speak makes me think of the Tutsi and the other clan war. Dunno why... I think it was that movie with Don Cheadle in it
If you don't have the memory shard moment with him (forgot once), he says he is going to "write a book with the asari"
Remy Mort's got the right idea.
thats actually a good observation. lol forgot about that
Hunh, Thats one I got too. I thought I told him to touch the Shard or something.Ive been nice to him.
when i see javik washing his hands why do i keep thinking of flies doing that thing with their ... legs or arms
I can't I would want to remember.
hah... everytime u listen to javik it makes you go oO.Oo
If you make him see his memory shard, towards the end as you say goodbye to your crew he says he plans on joining the comrades he killed. He doesn't kill himself, but he plans to.
IN MY CYCLE WE KNEW HOW TO END A VIDEO GAME SERIES!
JAVIK NO! If you attack him we're gonna get the reject ending!
Oh yeah... with the Relays destroyed...
I've been searching for that variation of this scene as well.
he's ALWAYS one of those people for me. Honestly I've imported 3 saves and on each one he came out. It's like BioWare wanted to say "Look, the DLC character even impacts the ending!"
Ahh, yes, that makes sense.
See? The endings aren't so bad when you think about them. THAT'S what the endings were there for. To make fans actually ponder (like we just did) over them.
Now my only problem is which choice. >:(
It's funny how the alien from another time has a better, more emotional voice actor than the guy we're playing as...
4:01 If this were Fallout 1, you'd be able to respond "I didn't know you guys had throats". Now that'd be some quality dialog right there.
Throw it out the airlock!
That's...mildly disturbing.
Exactly.
It may be because Miranda survived, but her dying in ME2 would stop Tali from getting drunk too.
Well we won't know that for sure if ever, or BioWare's ME3 team does release this Extended cut dlc come summer. In my eyes: Remains to be seen. And in reference to Javik, pun intended. xD
he did that to me, on my last mission i had garrus and liara, aftet all that he was on forest world
Javik is washing his hands of the mass effect 3 ending
That explains why Garrus is always dead if I don't send you to protect the survivors!
Just to let you know if you say yes to keep the shard he ends up killing himself at the end
Well he also likes Garrus
I think its what the star child sayed this but. Every cycle is the same. But it is not always 100 percent the same. Javik can still be the shepard of his cycle. He just failed because he was not born sooner.
"War is an atrocity committed in the name of survival".... So true, this applies to real life. MA3 is one of those games that lets you think philosophically. IMO that what makes games that much better.

who can be mean to tali hell i think grunt couldnt even be mean to tali
One is that he might go to the hanar homeworld and live like a King :P
If that's the case, why did it give Shepard the choice to destroy the Reapers. In what way does that preserve organic life? It probably feels that now the organics have built Crucible are resourceful enough to find their own solution (hence the 'control' option). Awesome talk with Tali ! How do you get it ?
remember, he said that quarians were attractive in his time so i think that he might actually like tali... not that i blame him.
Possession of feelings was punishable by death in the empire. ಠಠ_ಠಠ
Heh. Well I think it's a matter of pursuing the matter on his memory shard to convince him to view into it. I'll only do it just to see the whole thing and see what his thoughts are on it and the aftermath. Afterwords I'll just reload my last save before I convince him to look into the shard. This way after I've reloaded the file he'll not want to commit suicide, for not having looked into his memory shard.
tali was drunk when she talked to him
