This was easily one of the most mind-blowing moments in the entire trilogy. This game had a rather poor storyline, but the lore and world-building were insane.

I think the problem with Liara in this particular scene is that she still romanticizes the whole idea about the Prothean. "You're supposed to have all the answers" well she knew that the Reapers destroyed the Prothean, so this is just her emotional state and fantasy talking here.

Liara is full of shit

As much as i love Liara even as a best friend never romancing her after coming back from the Marine Corps.... imagine if we woke up a Templar and Saracen Knight.... I agree more with Javik....Liara is a doll and smart but she IS NOT a Soldier Marine or Warrior.... Javik really is the avatar of every warrior losing everything....its like Saiyan logic....use the pain...of LOSS! And you will grow stronger. I hope in the next Mass Effect game that the Asari cover up of Prothean technology and insights will finally bring the Asari to justice....because as beautiful....they ARE NOT INNOCENT!

Shep saying Liara could of finished that to javik was a bad move. Not saying liara is weak, But javik is on another level.

I can't believe it I am on my like 10th playthrough and it's my first insanity run ever doing as infiltrator I never played til legendary edition and I never found the datapad until now and choked up and tear came down. I kind of breaks my heart because it reminds me of a friend I had he was my roomie in the Marine Corps and he played Mass Effect when it first came out and I never really seemed to want to ever play it because I didn't think I would like it needless to say he lost his battle with PTSD and so I decided to buy this game but literally finding this data pad alone made it me really believe he's in a much better place.

Obviously i felt bad for liara but i never felt bad for the asari, BioWare totally misunderstood how players would take thessia falling. The most arrogant species that refused to listen to Shepard got what was coming to them ultimately. If it were any non-council race I’d probably feel different. But the turians, salarians and asari i could not feel the slightest bit sad for.

Liara obviously in a very emotional state but she is completely in the wrong, and she is in fact the one being extremely insensitive. What happened to her planet is all that Javik has ever known. Everybody he has ever known is long dead, his species is extinct...Most of the decisions he's ever made has been sacrifice more lives/worlds/species to the reapers. She think he has time to care about her feelings? Finding a way to defeat the reapers is the only thing he is alive to do, and he has been very clear about it.

people complain about facial expressions in Andromeda and say these games were better, but I literally don't see very much in ways of alternate facial expressions. Maybe a random eyebrow movement and my god in the first game of the legendary addition there's some warpy shit going on with people.

The remake was a turbo success, I honestly cannot wait for the DS2 and 3 remake. I hope they take their time with it as much as possible. Crazy thing is given their size dimorphism, I firmly believe that they faced necromorphs far worse than anything we’ve encountered or could imagine. The nexus was formed from just one corpse of what I assumed to be a mature Tau Volantian. Seeing as Necromorphs are able to fuse together to make a larger, more complex organism, their world must have been a living hell made of blood, bones and screaming mountains. Maybe their weapons were energy based, but hell if that would have helped. They were space fairing, but I can imagine a massive hive mind-like creature snatching ships out of the stratosphere.

I don't know but Javik constantly dissing and bullying Liara in ME3 was not okay. Wish he had more respect. Jaal is the same thing in Andromeda no respect for the chain of command. Two grumpy and boring characters. I was really hoping she would merk him right there and then. But she decided to spare his pathetic life.
