Cowboy tip: If you go into the interface options and set the aiming reticle to be “always present”, you can always see where you’re aiming, meaning you can hipfire weapons really reliably.
This is great for the senator, because you can snap off shots without needing to slow down, and feel like god’s favourite little quick-drawing, fair-dinkum, democracy dispensing, bot battlin’, bug bashin’, bushranger.

I want to like the revolver, but it needs a speed loader.
Either that, or a HUGE boost to both penetration and damage. Not both. They need to either make it a proper sidearm or a proper cannon.
You'll like it now, after the patch it has a speed loader and 16% damage buff!

I know we can occasionally see the Helldiver spinning the Senator, but I would LOVE an Emote where they go Revolver Ocelot with it

Just give it a speed reloader. But then again it is not a break open pistol…Maybe we will get another revolver with plasma bullets, you can do a lot with revolvers.
I completely agree with maybe getting different revolver variants to open up more options of play
It does have a swing-out cylinder so if the ever add attachments a speed loader would definitely work with it
or half moon clips
A speed loader would make you waste rounds on a partial reload.
It would be convenient if it used a speed loader when reloading from a empty clip, but otherwise loaded shots individually.
Perhaps it could be a toggleable feature? idk
The only issue I have with this gun: I CANNOT understand the First Person sights. I don't know if the bullets go inbetween the 2 red lines or if they go where the trench at the bottom is aiming. I'm trying to use this thing to dome Devastators but I just cannot for the life of me use this thing for long range precision, if they're close I can use the basic third person aim but the issue is if a Rocket Devastator or a Heavy Devastator are that close, I'm a dead man. I can handle the reload time, but I just cannot stand the fact that the iron sights have a learning curve to them. If anyone has any tips I am all ears, because I love the performance of this thing but I just cannot wrap my head around aiming it.
for bugs i still prefer the redeemer but for bots this is my go-to secondary, being able to one-tap devastators to the head with a sidearm is pretty strong
I cannot count how many times this has saved me in a pinch, plus if you've got good eyes it serves as a pretty dependable sniper canon.
i love the senator because it saves me so much ammo usually use it toward the end of a fight or magazine to finish off the final few bots or whenever there’s no rush to kill quickly like when i’m surrounded on top of a roof or picking off lone bots as i’m clearing a base or jammer
Worth noting it can 1 shot devastators to the face in close range at least
Really wish we get attachments so we can replace the iron reticle with literally any scope
I'd really prefer if the Senator DID NOT have a triangle reticle for aiming.
Crouching helps your aim and that gradually helps you to use it better on the go. Least thats how i learned cuz i had a lot of trouble using it in the beginning when on the move.
Mortars really are one of the top META's for bug and bot missions where you have to defend a location. Lots of bug/bot kills and you get to kill randoms
Boooom, motors were ruining my TCS major ordered missions lol😂
I like ems mortars more. Less anxiety and team kills.
If I get killed by an ally mortar more than once then im perma EATing that thing whenever it spawns
@@doormaster2517 it doesn't quite take an EAT to kill one.
Be sure to stay CLOSE to the TURRET so it's doesn't hit you, mortal cannot shot at close enemies.
If you lie on the ground with the Tesla coil it won't shoot at You 🤘

Better than machine pistol. Regular pistol should have a 2x scope and revolver should get zoom able like sickle.
I think we might get a faster reload for it when we get the weapons upgrades

This is the only secondary that can consistently kill 3 hunters with a full clip, uzi can usually only get 2.

Not with the new laser pistol arc shotgun and scythe, but it's probably in bottom 6
As fun as it is to kill bugs I would use this on the clankers, since they are more robust.
its good until u need to reload.
