- These quail reproduce rapidly! Our numbers went up drastically. With only a few adults we've hatched so many babies. But the question is, what are we going to do with all of them?

Almost the same here.. hatched out 20 Coturnix, 20 snowflake bobwhites, 20 normal bobwhites. Then the black rat snake broke in to the brooder and ate all but a few… note to those who have GQF battery brooders- tape those back sliding doors shut!!!

You might consider using a hanging water bottle for the quail that are getting their drinking water so dirty. I've had great success with water bottles for chickens & pheasants. The water stays clean and it takes up zero ground space. Once I teach them how to drink, they are good to go. Just a thought, might be worth a try with just those quail.

Are you done hatching pheasant eggs because they have stopped laying, or did you just decide to stop incubating the rest of their eggs this year?
@@Patricia.StoneCreekHobbyFarm Well egg laying has slowed down and fertility has dropped as well. I have three more clutches in the incubator left.
