When Sonic increases his speed, it doesn’t ‘feel’ like he’s moving faster.
The stage still scrolls at the same speed.
Yeah sadly it's a bug that's present in the original build by Loquend. I think it was supposed to go faster but it bugs out.

I liked all the versions of prey and it’s hands down my favorite FNF song of all time! I like the little detail where Sonic was looking down at Furnace making his way in front of Robotnick/Starved and Sonic himself and not to mention SUPER-SONIC V.S Starved and Furnace! YOU DID AMAZING WITH ALL THE VERSIONS OF PREY!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Okay, i know its been a damn year since this came out but imma just explain how the lore goes. So basically after the events of Sonic 1, Robotnik decided to go back to his old base for whatever and then a scent conviently has just reached him, he went and followed the smell until he saw a vuent flicky (one of those bird thingys) and then he begins to wonder how it tastes and eats it. He liked it, and then his physical appearance begun to change, his moustache fell off and his lips are just nonexistent. He then wondered what Sonic tasted like, he then created a metallic replica (sounds familiar) designed for cooking mobians, his first victim was either Ray or Amy (yes Ray and Mighty exist here) but it is most likely Amy as Sonic is lookind for her on little planet anyways, here is how the Prey timeline goes: Sonic 1, Sonic 2 (Sonic meets Tails much more earlier this en usual), Sonic CD (as you can see stardust is located on little planet and little planet is in Sonic CD), Sonic 3&K (This should probably take place a few months after Prey Goodfuture) etc. So basically, after the disappearance of Amy, Sonic decides to look for her on his own. Then wouldn't you know it his metallic replica shows up and his name is just "Furnace" no really he is just a flying oven, anyways, both Sonic and Furnace begin to race as Furnace is not designed for combat. A few minutes after, Furnace begins to power down and falls behind, and then Eggman shows up, and yeah yeah yeah yadda yadda yadda yadda they battle and stuff and Furnace sneaks under Sonic, and Sonic does not even notice him, so a few minutes later Eggman falls behind and then Furnace comes in for the kill, probably damaging him significantly as Sonic is quite literally running at Mach 1 or 2, the collision was so strong, the sound that it made was heard for miles on end. That is where Tails comes in, so Tails basically begins to wonder where Sonic has gone after his strange disappearance, and then Tails wonders through maybe metallic madness or scrap brain but i don't know, anyways Tails finds Eggman and Sonic's dead rotting corpse on the floor beside Eggman, Tails is terrified as the last thing Sonic gave him was a rusty buckle from of his shoes so Tails can remember him just incase he goes missing or something, anyways. Tails is shellshocked to see Sonic dead for the first time and begins to battle with Eggman and stuff, but it's unkown if Tails actually survives considering the song was scrapped. Lets talk about goodfuture Prey now, so this is where Sonic survives and dodges Furnace attempt at killing him, and in this timeline this Sonix gets the goodendings to both S1 and S2 and kept them with him so shen he's in danger he can turn super and oneshot them instantly and survive, and the reason why Eggman doesnt go back in time (he has 6 timestones ) is because Sonic has one of the timestones. And yeah, thats basically it, okay bye.
Man, Sonic CD was such a good game. Never understood why Stardust Speedway had a third act that turned into a rhythm game though.

If you want my opinion, I think you should change the Prey good future final part to just normal Sonic speeding away using a peel-out/boost. Sonic only has the time stones, so he can't turn Super in Prey. Also, it could be fun if there was also a Prey version based around AOSTH, since Starved took most of his inspiration from that cartoon. Anyways, these are just some suggestions! The work you did on this is absolutely magnificent
about the super sonic in prey, remember that the Starved universe is an alternative universe to the events of Sonic CD. He may have kept the chaos emeralds or something, but I'm not sure. All I'm saying is that it's definitely possible Sonic can have a super form in CD due to it not being the canon timeline, and it's different.
@@skysai_ Starved's AU still follows canon Sonic lore and the changes start to happen after Sonic 1 so the Chaos Emeralds are still in the special stages.
@@eggbind2989 technically no. Sonic knows tails in the starved au so prey would take place after sonic 3. It’s likely events played out similarly to canon with the main difference being that. Starved was after the emeralds to feed his hunger not to conquer the world.
@@Doghero780 the lore says that Prey is set in Sonic CD. In Starved's realm, Sonic met Tails without the events of Sonic 2 happening. So this is set in Sonic CD, on little planet (Stardust speedway can only be found there) and Sonic has no emeralds. Him using a peel-out/boost just makes more sense than him turning into Super Sonic out of nowhere

I can imagine sonic saying something like “ sorry bud, not a fan of routine!” Instead of what he does say, he still laughs tho, I feel like that could be a good time to pull out the “WHAT?!” Voice clip of starved and then sonic goes super, I can also imagine as a funny gag , super sonic is so fast that he spins in a circle and has after images with drums and a guitar and the stuff that’s making the background music.

So uhh a theory:
Sonic got stabbed by furnace, but unbeknownst to Starved, he had a 1-up that he picked up before the fight cause while he was running
to Stardust Speedway, he saw some of his friends’ corpses and some dead flickies, so that way, Sonic was able to live another day AND become the unexpected victor of the bout.
He has one life during the song. So he gets stabbed, no more 1ups. He's dead.

My theory is for good future is furnace had the time-stone to catch up to sonic but once sonic knew there was a trap he took the time stones from furnace when sonic almost got caught aka killed and went super sonic
