The radio contest women are good for one thing at least... and that's an example to the risks of spontaneity 😂 These are fun risks for people that have the money to save them. They couldn't even afford to spend what they did, had kids and responsibilities badk home left in the air all for the grand prize 10k car. Most of the time in these contests, the winners were responsible to pay the taxes on the prize. A lot of newer contests offer a cash prize in addition anticipating that used for the taxes. They got lucky, I'm surprised they helped them get home smh Hopefully they learned from this 😂 what a dumb decision for something not remotely worth the risk. They would need to offer a lot more than that for my jump... even then, I'm too broke to lose a dollar to my name...nopeee

Make sure you read the policy well. I get free travel insurance on my credit card but it doesn't cover pre-existing illness unless you get approval. I did this for my son every holiday and I had to pay $100 extra for 10 days' insurance. Pretty cheap considering my son got sick in Saigon one holiday, spent 10 days in hospital and had to be flown back on an airline that would agree to carry oxygen in case he needed it. It was well over $30k of expense covered by insurance. Hopefully the gentleman was covered and his pacemaker was successful.
I think this was pre-Brexit in which case UK citizens would get free (at the pint of use) health care in any EU country. All EU countries have agreements to provide this to each others citizens.
