My Taskbar has the exact same behaviors as yours and has been this way for a couple of months. In otherwords, I right-click and have the same two options. I've been using Quick Launch toolbar for as long as I can remember. Is there any way to bring this back in 23H2? I currently use a shortcut that I've pinned to my Taskbar, which opens up FileExplorer in my QuickLaunch folder. I'm not really satisfied with this.
As far as this video is concerned, I have my Copilot, my PC falls under the Unsupported category. I was concerned that I didn't upgrade properly to 23H2, but I noticed you have the same Copilot icon as I do, referring to the yellow 'PRE" label.
Brother next update copilot will be here , microsoft removed for some issues with it , but next update , maybe next week , will be here again fixed

ViveTool method doesnt work. Just tried the regedit method now and dont even have the "showcopilot" entry. Have the Group Policy option which was already set to "Not Configured" but that's the only one... Any ideas?

Need help. Okay, I have copilot and the button and all of that. And copilot works. HOWEVER, there apparently is supposed to be a menu on the left hand side that gives me various options. I don't have that though. When I expand copilot out to the left it stops expanding right about where that menu would start. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm messed with resolution, and stuff like that but no luck so far.

I didnt do video review for copilot yet , i will wait for the stable version because its not yet released stable version , microsoft disable it because some isuess read the article , but yes in this video i make it able to work again but sure next update of windows 11 will be fixed from them better version for sure

Hello, well it doesn't work for me... i've added the showcopilotbutton in registry but when i saw i dont have privacy group i used the 2nd tip with vivetool but after the restart i still don't have copilot... sad :(
Try adding registry , restart , than use vivetool , check group policy after

@@weropealbro try to remove completely manually like i'm doing and start adding from beginning again one by one to registry to group policy and also use the vivertool to activate it again

Yes , you have to run your CMD as administrator
Right click on cmd on your start menu , and run as administrator like im doing and after that go a hed and do it like im doing

Just to let you know they remove copilot from the Taskbar when they rolled out this update: Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034848) I tried to manually reinstall copilot but it did not take the manual installation.

@@Tips2Fix Yes you are right this morning I restarted my computer and then it came back I don't know what's going on ? But my computer in the living room had something similar happen to it when this update came through the only difference is that Copilot is still next to the search bar and has not moved to the right corner of the taskbar, even though I'm completely up to date. Whenever I prompt something the windows copilot is stuck on attempting to reconnect error and no response is given by the copilot.

yes it will open edge when you open up from start menu , (when you try to search in start , than you see copilot in right corner , than sure it will open up edge) you need to enable copilot in taskbar like i'm doing on the video

vivetool its an exe application that no need to be installed , so you can delete the folder where vivetool is than done
so its not installed , this app software exe only can do modifications in your system based on your requests :)

What these videos neglect to mention is that these features are NOT available on Windows 11 Home version and neither is Copilot.

Yeah dont work on Windows 11 Home. However I was able to use the trick with the "create shortcut" with microsoft-edge:\\\ux=sidebar&tcp=1& yadda yadda, but suddenly it doesnt work anymore
It got installed on my Windows 11 Home version after the latest windows update last month, I wasn't really expecting it to show up on my Windows OS since I bought my laptop last year so I thought it'd be only available for the newer laptops and windows 11 versions, but to my surprise I now have it!
