I don't have a best friend - In this video I share my thoughts feelings and experiences when it comes to having a best friend. The truth is friendships are important but they are so hard to find (especially when it comes to finding real friends.) I hope that you will be able to take something away from this video and maybe even relate to it just a little bit because I think I am not alone in this struggle

Honey, I'm 51 and don't have one. I've always been "everyones" friend with no one specifically by my side all the time since my 20's. Believe me when I tell you- you find yourself missing it less and less depending on the dynamics of your life. You've already nailed it in that real friends are hard to find and the older you get the less you're interested in dealing with anyone elses quirks and dramas. Sustaining a romantic relationship and raising kids adds to that.

That's true, I've noticed it with my mom who's around that age too..she doesn't worry about having friends. Other things take priority

@@benitakipela friendLY is enough. Being able to pick a few people once in a while to go and do whatever when you feel like it. Bug nobody I feel beholden to give my time and attention when I don't want to!

I used to have two best friends, but after a betrayal, I've never been able to go back to being a person who has a best friend. I don't try for it and it doesn't happen to me which is fine honestly, because my partner is now my best friend

@@benitakipela take your time, not everyone that calls themselves a friend behaves like one. Rejection is protection. It will come when the timing is right. I restarted my friendship circle, I’m happy about this process. I wasn’t being supported like I deserved. I’m wishing you the best😉
