There is something endlessly endearing and timeless about mid 2000's hardcore. It was like playing a competitive game before a meta is established and everybody was kind of just doing what they could.

It's kinda funny enter shikari is my favorite "scene band". It reminds me of the old screamo wave but obviously with the scene twist. Especially their break out song

No food or monetary value was awarded. 6 hours of MTV shooting it.
We just loved Enter Shikari. Most people involved were 14/15 at the time, I'm in the video.stage diving through one of the clips.
I remember the coach ride back, telling "Little Will" what a great experience that was there and then.
Looking back now all I think about is how cold, and badly organised it was, but in Enter Shikaris defence, that was what times was like then, we didn't give a shit, we were just happy to be part of their music video.
Mad flashbacks whilst writing this comment, but honestly to say "I'm in an Enter shikari music video" still comes up in the after parties to this day!

When I heard this song for the first time back in 2006 I was so hooked it was unreal. The blasting drums, punchy riffs, amazing screams and vocals are a really epic combination. The whole Take To The Skies album is still my most listened album ever. These guys are brilliant x 1000000

This song reminds me of working in McDonald’s and putting the album on full blast after the store closed while we cleaned. Saw them in Falmouth 2009 and it is STILL the best gig I’ve ever been to.

I was 14 when I saw Shikari back in 2009, Such a unique and awesome sound to this day.
Seen them 4 times since and they get more diverse and better ever time i see them.
That said, I really miss the old shikari sound, these songs just bring me straight back to summers as a teen.

2019.....I heard this when it came out. I listen to Black metal, Death Metal, Thrash, and Power metal pretty exclusively. But god damn it.....I love this fucking song. I mean love it.

saw them back in 2007/08 at Electric ballroom in camden and still to this day the best gig i have ever been to! and ive been to a ridiculous amount!
So jealous. Wish I was old enough and knew about them back then so I could've attended one of their earlier gigs. So much nostalgia.

Very few bands where every musician in it takes a shine under the spotlight.. its truly unreal how talented and connected these dudes are, they dont change their sound for anyone and will always surprise you with a new track.. so many years and they're all still on the same fucken page.. no ones left and no one new has joined..

This is the song which got me into Enter Shikari. One day watching music videos on TMF (Channel 21) and this beauty pops the fuck up. I am godsmacked wondering what the fuck is going and at the same time fucking mesmorised and loving every moment of it. Thus learning of the band I nicked the album off my older sister LOL and have kept it ever since and even bought a 2nd cd because I'd played it so fucking much literally there's one massive scratched circle with the music sounding like a radio from 20s
