NTCA Lists Four Factors to Help States Increase their BEAD Success

NTCA, The Rural Broadband Association, has noted four areas that States and ISPs should be keeping in mind given that, according to the NTIA, 2024 is “the year of execution” for the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program. The list includes recommendations regarding the challenge process, right-sizing project areas, future-proofing new broadband connectivity, and requirements that could limit BEAD participation from smaller operators, like matching funds, taxes and reporting mandates. #NTCA #BEADprogram #NTIA
