DISCLAIMER FOR GENERAL STAFF LOSS DATA
1) These are real people with real lives and real families who love them. Don’t let the numbers sap your humanity.
2) These numbers probably aren’t accurate but they’re the best we have and we don’t need them to be accurate to be indicative of patterns of activity.
3) All losses are estimates. Losses cannot be counted with accuracy because of the conditions on the ground.
4) Both sides would see it to be of their advantage to minimize their own losses maximize the other side’s losses.
5) Neither side releases their losses but we have enough transparency from the Ukrainian side to have confidence in they are indicative.
6) Personnel losses are hard to count. If a soldier gets injured, heals up, and returns to the front line only to get injured again, is that one loss or two? Also, how to deal with losses from PMC’s or soldiers fighting with RF from occupied territories?
7) Equipment losses are hard to count. If an AA complex involves several parts and one part gets disabled, is that a loss, or a fraction of a loss? If a tank gets disabled, repaired, back into the fight, then disabled again, is that one lost tank or two?
8) All recorded losses are vulnerable to multiple reporting. We have already seen numerous cases of multiple drones in the air reporting the same loss from different angles as multiple engagements.
9) Losses are not always reported on the same day they occurred. It is frequent that drone losses are reported at least 24 hours after other terrestrial equipment losses. Certain losses may not be reported for days or weeks for military intelligence reasons.

How you choose to brew your tea and drink it is such a personal matter that I would never think of dictating it to anyone! (Sadly I am banned from caffeine and cannot stand the decaff muck on offer to date.) How nice that we can discuss such matters. Meanwhile the Ukrainians are being as formidable as ever. Did you see the hilarious 'victory parade' in Moskva? That tank is older than me!

I am also banned from caffeine but suffer daily headaches. Caffeine gives me relief, so I use dark chocolate as an aspirin.

I feel that a clarification is in order. A couple of weeks ago you had a live chat with Jake Broe, and I asked a question in the live stream. The question may have been misunderstood and it has bothered me ever since.
I asked why the western world should worry about a collapse of russia after a russian defeat. Not in those exact words, and that may have been the problem.
You and Jake were talking about different ways the western world has been deterred from giving Ukraine enough help. And the fear of a russian collapse and the chaos that might follow was mentioned as one of the possible deterrence for the west. I also follow Timothy Snyder, the historian, quite a bit. And he has on several occasions said that the total loss in the war is the only thing that can save russia from its path deeper and deeper into fascistic imperialism. My question may have been unclear cause the spellcheck on my phone altered some words, and I didn't read it good enough before I sent it. Sorry about that.
I fully support Ukraine. I only want a full Ukraine victory, which means all Ukrainian territory restored. And i actually hope to see russia plunge in to chaos and fall apart into smaller entities. I don't understand why we should fear such an outcome, nukes or not.
Next month I'm going on my fifth trip to Ukraine, second since the start of the full-scale war.
I follow your updates every day, also when I'm in Ukraine. Your cannel is the best source of information on the war.

After just spending two weeks in Ukraine in April, I found their Tea is the best! absolutely the tea is awesome, the fruit tea, or local Tea they can teach the world a thing about making great tea.
As for tea, my Irish granny (on my mother's side) would have a meltdown if it wasn't made properly...
Just cover the teabag with hot water by maybe 5mm, let steep for a minute, remove bag and add milk, then re-boil the kettle and fill the cup.
It's noticeably different!
Whether it's better or not, idgaf, because I prefer coffee!

Artillery is for the Russians, an asset they always need both for attack and defense. They cant just keep them away for some days and than shuffle them in again like tanks. That is why you see tanks to the minimum at some days and more on other days. Artillery will always be available as a target until they are all done. The numbers of destroyed Artillery and estimation of remaining stock is intriguing me therefore more than any other asset.

If Ukraine attacks Russian refineries and storage, Russia will have to compensate by quick disposal/sale of their crude (else - no income).
Global prices either remain low, or Russia has no income.
The drone flying across the border means there is no air defence there either way to go Ukraine

The recent trends, in the past few months, are mostly all tragic and very unfortunate for Ukraine. Ukraine needs to turn it around, but that is easier said than done. Obviously there are severe weaknesses in Ukraine command and that needs to be corrected first if the battlefield situation is to improve substantially.
Yorkshire tea is delicious, but I mix it up a bit. If you drink it all the time you don't appreciate it.

My second choice used to be Sainsbury's organic. That makes a lovely cuppa.
Overrated imo. But then it all depends on how hard or soft the water is in your kettle. You can make a decent brew with an average bag but with the right water. Brewed long enough.

Hello Jonathan, you constantly refer to 'trends' but I would be very hesitant about describing you as 'trendy'. Tea, Yorkshire variety. Grown on a plantation owned by one of the '5 Yorkshiremen', probably John Cleese Teas, cultivated on the tropical upper slopes of a disused slag heap and dried in the scorching Yorkshire sunshine. The leaves are then fermented in an abandoned brewery and finally sown into bags at a local weaving mill. Boxing is another issue but I won't discuss pugilism. Enjoy your cuppa. Caveat. Nobody in the world, doing anything at all, at any time should either take humbrage or believe one single solitary word of the rubbish that I write. p.s. I wrote humbrage as opposed to 'Take O'ffence' because I have a fond affinity for Irish garden landscapers.
Those ultralight, slow plane drones are so easy to shot down that the Russians cannot believe it is an attack weapon. 🤪 Hiding in plain sight often is a solid tactic.

@@tezzy5584 why, they fire it like theres no tomorrow and at the rate of 10.000 a day means they need 3.6milliuon per year ,so its not optimistic at all and its not just about ammunition .satellite pics show that the artillery stockyards are empty and they are now using old towed artillery , with shorter range which in turn means they are closer to the front and easier pickings for ukranian drones

And no you should actually watch the Covert Cabal video and pay attention - Russia has not run out of artillery, thousands of artillery pieces are still in storage + new production. You are simply delusional if you believe Russia has run out of ammunition.

I drink a lot of teas and I use a kettle, but never to boiling for herbal or asian teas, only chai. The black tea bags go into a glass jug to sit in the sun, no need to boil.
