    I ended up getting the “bible” size, which is essentially a B6 slim, my preferred page size for just about everything. Gosh, I love the paper as well as the fact that I could just supplement my current size with a pad or two of the pocket size refills even without having to buy a second cover. Great tip on adding the blotter page. And I love how well your cover is aging.

    I have a mini5 I've been using as a wallet and a bible size that is my daily driver for planning and notes. I love them both!
    For the bible size I've been printing my own inserts every week. I ordered a pack of A4 sanzen tomoe river to print on, which has been working great. I tried printing onto the blank plotter paper, but my printer couldn't handle paper that small and thin unfortunately. I have a vanishing point in the pen holder lifter thingy, which I also love. Designing and using my own inserts has been awesome since they're tailored to my way of thinking and working.
    The mini5 is interesting. Like you mentioned, I don't use it for much beyond quickly jotting things down every once in a while. I got it before the bible and used it as my daily planner for a while, but once I got the bible size that stopped. Too much work to keep them both up to date, and the bible size is just much nicer for that. I have the pen lifter in it and recently switched to a Studio Neat Mark 2, which is perfect for it. I put the cap in the bottom and just pull the pen out to use quickly without posting the cap. When i'm done the pen just slides back into the cap securely via the magnet. It's awesome. I put a D2 converter in it so I can use some zebra gel refills instead of the default schmidt it comes with, which is just way too thick and wet for the paper.
    As far as paper, I have some todo list pages, 2mm grid pages, and 5mm dot grid pages. I also have a few months worth of the monthly calendar pages. Like you said, the plotter paper is pretty amazing. I also have the leather card holder insert, which is surprisingly nice. It holds cards securely and they're easy to get in and out. I may take out the elastic band as well, though.

    Thanks for posting this, I am thinking about getting into the tiny ring game and it's helpful to see things after they've actually been used for a while

      Definitely. I think the initial video has more dimensions and the "unboxing experience" but it's nice to see how things are wearing in and how they are functioning differently than you thought. The rings have held up great, and I still love this as a pocket notebook. Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it.

    You should sand the edges, you won't regret it.

    Are they Krause rings, or another make?

    • @KendallW
      @KendallW  Před rokem

      I'm not sure who they source for the rings. Great question though. No issues yet, *crossing fingers*

      @@KendallW thank you. And thanks for sharing your experiences with the Plotter. A Plotter binder is on my squishing list, although I’m personally going for the Mini 5.

      @@Flatability Hopefully you saw my initial video where I compare the sizes of the inserts for the mini 5 vs 6. The mini 5 is a great choice -it was just a bit small for my needs. Thanks!

    Put some clear nail polish on those corners.

      I'm sorry to hear that. Another luxury notebook I recommend is William Hannah - not the same as a Plotter, but worth checking out if you're interested in a really nice, luxury notebook system. I have a video review and unboxing of the A5 size.
