Every other Wednesday we present a new video, so join us to see the truth laid bare...
This episode explores the legend of the Bermuda Triangle, the mysterious region off the East Coast of the United States that has captured the public imagination with tales of vanishing ships and aircraft.
The Triangle goes by many names, The Vile Vortices or The Devil's Triangle. There are also debates as to its boundaries. But at the centre of the myths and legends are the 450,000 square miles of island strewn ocean between Miami, Bermuda and Puerto Rico.
Said to be a mysterious vortex claiming lives, ships, and planes at will. Some are never found, others turn up as gravestones on the ocean floor. Among such feared supernatural phenomena as UFOs and alien abduction, the Triangle is a serious contender. This programme sets out to unravel its secrets, finding out what lies behind the myth. Flying into the heart of the Bermuda Triangle.

My Dad told me of what happened back in 1945 , he was in the Army Air Corp. They had so many go missing that were sent after flight 19 they couldn't send any more.
28 yrs later I took flight training and later entered the US Coast Guard on South Florida.
What I tell you next is Top Secret information and will deny everything if summoned to a grand jury investigation, but here is what happened on a trip.
I flew two missions that were to take us 4000 miles each way each trip. We were to fly through the Bermuda triangle. The first trip left January 4, 1975. The year before we lost half a dozen so everyone was to take specialized water saving equipment as a result. We were gone two weeks and for some reason had to divert to an airbase called Howard's. The following year around feb-mar I encountered a problem while jumping from my aircraft at 3500 feet. My arm was severely torn at the bicep. I wore a sling and was unable to use it for two more months. I was lucky I guess to survive the landing without further injury. As far as I know the rest of the crew that didn't survive were buried tangled in their chutes resulting in being drowned. Have a close friend like Norris who drowned is something I'm not likely to forget.
The military expects at least 10 deaths per training cycle for Ranger back then and one per 350 jumps. You may repeat my story but you didn't hear it from me.

I've flown the Triangle several times in a Cessna Skyhawk. Been there, done that, got more than one tee shirt. Magnetic compass goes wonky. Don't use it! I've watched it just sit and spin slowly. The old gravity powered turn and bank indicator will also fluctuate for no apparent reason. Don't look at it. Fly the gyro compass and the radios, and there's never a problem.
And I don't know why they seemed to push hurricanes almost is if the Triangle is responsible for them too. I don't know of a *single* hurricane ever being spawned in the triangle, and in fact, none of the ones that have crossed it have behaved any differently than any other hurricane.

      The Island of Lost Socks
If you look down in your washing machine
you'll probably see a trap door.
      It's actually always been there.
You just never saw it before.
It's easy to find your way through.
You just open it with three knocks.
And behind it you'll find a river that leads
to the Island of Lost Socks.
      The natives of this island
are the socks that got away
      from the awful, terrible life
      of smelling feet all day.
Now they run around in the sunshine
      enjoying magnificent views,
      and knowing they'll never again
      have to fill anybody's shoes.
They never get holes, runs or snags.
They never get sold at half price.
They always are warm and fresh smelling,
      'Cause this is sock paradise.
So the next time you notice a few of your socks
      have vanished without a trace,
don't bother to look in the laundry,
'cause they're in a much happier place.

Well, there ist quite many places all over Earth that have experienced much larger numbers of missing people, aircraft, ships etc. There ist many more historical missing ships (by extreme number) all over das Atlantic Ocean NOT located inside das so ignorantly labeled Bermuda/Devil's Triangle. There ist nothing special about this area except that if may seemingly exhibit some uncommon Magnetic attributes thought to be Strange, Mysterious, or Magical by those who are non-scholar in such disciplines. Earth's Magnetic fields are ever changing in process that gives us visual und measurable witness to a future "[Magnetic] Pole Reversal" that Earth has had 100s of times in das past. Das other uncommon things about this area of das Atlantic Ocean ist das weather, but such weather ist not uncommon in any general sense compared to 100s of other similar locations on Earth where in das past lacking modern Radio, Radar, GPS tracking etc. also have in history seemingly exhibited mysterious behavior when no remains have been found...Earth ist often quite gute at cleaning it's own plate. :-)

Anecdote at 5:10: See Wikipedia entry here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_lightning on ball lightning. The "tornado" he is describing was highly likely a water spout. The combination of a water spout, which can generate positive and negative charges, no different than a tornado, to create ball lightning would make sense as to what he was seeing.

The narrator, on the reflight, said an instrument on both planes stopped working, but neglected to report in the documentary weather or not those instruments started working, or not, after they left the area of the triangle. Very important when reporting. That could be good scientific info weather the triangle caused the failure of the instruments.
I hate when reporters fail to follow up on information they previously give.

I actually know what happened here. They thought they were East off the
Florida coast but they actually were over on the other side in the Gulf
of Mexico. As they headed West to find the coast, all they were doing
was flying further and further into the Gulf. Then ran out of fuel,
never having found land."There is no one more lost than he who thinks he
knows where he is but is wrong" There were several eyewitnesses who saw
them flying the wrong way into the Gulf, and the gradual loss of radio
communications is 100% consistent with flying away from the naval base
until out of range especially if the antenna is pointed in the opposite
    direction.

The magnetic field of the Earth is getting ready to do another polarity flip. The magnetic field will be fluctuating for a while until it stabalizes.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomagnetic_reversal
As you can see from the chart, we're somewhat overdue for a flip, at least looking at the last 5 million years.

Mohammed Ziaul Monsur Everything just has to be a massive conspiracy orchestrated in minute detail.
Seriously, people have versions of their own "Bermuda" in the own local regions in 200 to 300 mile area in which they live. Essentially, it comes down to a commuting zone on which few people live so accidents go unseen by others. Mystery starts and one jack ass adds his bullshit to it and before you know it, you have an entire legend.
The triangle has large ships and airplanes transiting so disasters are bigger than old horse trains, walkers on foot, derailed trains, etc.

The fact certain parts oceans are more probe to disappearances then other areas are enough to make one raise an eyebrow.
PBS did a special on looking for the famous flight of fighter planes, and initially thought they found part of the flight...they found like 3 or 4 of right kind of planes lined up within 300 yards of each other!
But it turned out, that a search of the tail numbers revealed that each of these planes were involved in totally different disappearances, and totally different dates.
Then what of the chances of these 3 or 4 planes being almost lined up almost perfectly within 300 yards of each other?
Most disappearances have a perfectly good explanation, but that even had me wondering.
I remember a National Geographic picture that showed a small/medium fishing boat stuck in the mouth of an underwater cave!
Heck Japan has an area of ocean that they too consider to be of Bermuda Triangle scary/ mystery even to this day!
Point is many things are perfectly explainable.
But a few things, one must wonder.
What is life without a few myths and mysteries!
Heck I used to be a skeptic of ghosts, until I had one touch me.
Apparently he heard my mother gripe about my crooked coat collar......and decided to suddenly "fix it".
Welp...that made me a believer, and I do not bad mouth spirits after that....and refuse to touch a wee-gee board!
Any explanation for my coat collar being suddenly pulled up 3-4 inches, the collar straightened, and forced down back onto my shoulder!
Plus the closest living person was 30-35 feet away?!
    I was 😳.
Thankfully this was a benign ghost according to the manager of the place. Looking back, I am honored to experience that. But I watch my coat collars now!

    • @equarg
      @equarg Před 7 lety

That said, a bast majority of "disappearances" are perfectly logical. Human error or mechanical error.
But when pilots report weird shit....and the modern FAA shrugs their shoulders, you know something weird worthy of Ripley's believe it or not is going on.
Especially when an one hour flight becomes a 30 minuet one and ground control is freaking out (they left that part out).
Ground Control and the FAA has 0 sense of humor.
      They don't like suprises.
