Can this gimbal still balance an iPhone 12 pro max with a case and a phone lense.??
Can the older focus wheel mechanism that worked with the Weebill S be used with this one?
And can the trans mount video be sent to an external monitor that ISN'T the one that Zhiyun provides? I would love to be able to use this with an external monitor that has focus peaking, zebras, histograms, false color, etc...
How does it feel? I mean when I was taking a look at both weebill & ronin 2 I think that is what was out at the time, DJI product felt so much better, the grip on the Zhiyun turned me off & I had a Zhiyun once & the battery compartment fell apart first time using it, so I guess hope they are making a better product

Can’t say I get too excited when new gimbals launch. I think the two things I always look out for is increase motor strength and compact size mostly for traveling.
The Weebill 2 looks like it’s the last Gimbal I’ll ever own because it meets my needs.

I wish they allow some of the monitoring tools available on the app on the flip out screen, like false colors, waveforms and vectorscope. That would make it worth buying the image transmission instead of a dedicated monitor and help to simplify the gimbal setup

Great video Sidney! I was wondering if the older Zhiyun models also got the portrait mode? Love it because then you don't need to mount the camera vertically. brilliant. However, I believe my Crane 2 does not support this mode? Do you know if there will be an update?
No, not all the older Zhiyun gimbals support portrait mode unfortunately.

On the Weebil lab, they had a dedicated POV button that I wish they had on this one as I use the POV more frequently than the other modes (F or L). I like the flip out screen but I am keeping it closed for most of the day because it sucks the battery life a ton. I shot 3 weddings this past weekend with the Weebil 2 and I noticed a dedicated battery bank plugged in is super helpful as the "9 hour" battery life is only a general estimate for battery life. Thanks for the video, I still love it overall. I had the Sony FX3 on this gimbal as my camera...
I figured out POV mode eventually... push the trigger button on the front and it immediately goes into POV.

Can't you mount an iphone to the gimbal and use it as a monitor without the image transmitter (I have the Sony A6600)?
If I’m not using the transmitter then why would I use the usb connection from the gimbal to the camera? Is this for being able to press record and take pictures? I ask because my connection doesn’t work and I’m using the A7siii. Says “USB mode connecting….”

Could you please make a video about the tracking system with the flip-out screen... I think the flip-out screen could be a great solution to avoid the use of the phone app, and use the tracking system as simple as can be, but there are no much videos about it with the Weebill 2!! I would like the use a gimbal for dancer's videos, a tracking system could be really cool... Thanks!!
How bright is the screen?
I want to know About battery.. if original battery died how can we change it with a new one?
Battery life isn’t as good as with the other Zhiyun gimbals (especially if you’re using it to charge the Image Transmission).
I wish they could make it use video by wires not through image transmission device.

Great video! However, I'm incredibly frustrated trying to connect my A6300 to the transmitter and view on the flip out screen. I keep getting the error that's it's not connected

@@HantuBorneo Yeah I finally figured out I bought the wrong transmitter. I got the AI Transmount (latest one) and it worked

Yea the flip screen is a game changer instead of fumbling with the app. Not sure if it’s worth an upgrade from the Weebill S tho. Great video bro 💯😎

Hey Sidney. I use a Weeble S with a BMPCC4K. I currently use an iPhone 8 plus as an external monitor with the image transmission system. It's very handy when doing underslung shots for example. Having a screen built-in really cuts down on setup and bulkiness. I look like some kind of crappy TV robocop with all this stuff as I walk along haha
The only thing I would say is that in some of your shots, it looks as though your screen has scratches already. Are you super clumsy or is it that easy to ding the screen?

the battery is not great. Coming from the previous weebill, this new one is seriously making me wonder if I should switch to the RSC2 which I've used and has served me wonderfully. It adds an extra retarded step of connecting to the transmitter to wirelessly send the image to the screen when they couldve just let you connect the HDMI to the weebill instead.
I've had two Weebills, both were poor at staying level, I film home walkthroughs, whole house in one shot, so lots of twisting and turning, the weebills could not stay level, they pitch and roll noticeably - it's really obvious in a home where you have lots of verticals, which should be vertical.
Has this been fixed in the new version?
VASTLY IMPROVED! The stronger motors (and the Balance Check + Auto Calibration) really fixed that.
Yeah I always had this issue also with both weebils and it was super annoying no matter what I did to try to compensate and never stayed level most of the time 🙌💪🏻🤗

Flip screen can only be connected with an image transmitter, and sometimes despite the short distance it has some drops. why can't i connect it via hdmi directly? If i connect the image transmitter the gimbal battery life dramaticly decrease (3hours?!?) Even if i charge the transmitter battery. Follow mode Just don't work propely. Why battery are not changeble like weebill S. Why arca-swiss is being dismissed? Why can't you configure the trigger as you want instead of follow mode that dont work at all. Mouvements are not so smooth as weebill S. It is not an improuvement except for the weight capabilities.

What would make that flip out screen perfect would be some monitoring tools like focus peaking, false color and waveforms. That would be GOLDEN.
As it stands, that screen is not really super useful for me personally, as I need focus peaking at the very least on an external monitor. Still, a hella cool idea that I'm pleased to see on this gimbal. Maybe a firmware upgrade will give us those tools in the future. Until then I think I'll stick with my Weebill S...

Let's be honest, it's totally pointless to use built-in display as external monitor due it small size. It's even smaller than camera display, this is ridiculous.
