Except you're a bitch. - Hudba
There are less than 12 hours left to join 52 Week Guitar Player before I close enrollment again for a few months.
I’ll be closing the program again by end of day on Friday March 31st so we can officially start the April cohort. The program only resumed in mid-March. Before that it was closed since January. So when I say I’m closing the program again, I mean it.
So if you’re an:
1. Adult male that plays at an intermediate level
2. Guitar used to be a big part of their life
3. Improve their knowledge of the fretboard, improv, compositional skill
4. Serious
5. Want cut and paste practice routines that were designed by a professional and are proven to work.
You’ve come to the right place dammit! There are currently over 600 guitar players in our community who share many of these traits. If you’re a beginner, you’d probably find this program quite fast paced and challenging.
You’re gonna make so much progress here that all your friends will get PISSED OFF but not even mad.
Because we offer
1. This program offers a highly structured 170+ lesson curriculum.
2. Lessons come with a built in practice routine that will tell you exactly what to do step by step as well as WHY you're doing it AND when to move on to the next.
3. A Facebook group to share progress videos and get professional feedback.
4. Group Zoom coaching calls 3x/week to have your questions answered and get your playing roasted.
5. A new backing track shared every week for you to improvise over.
6. Accountability - we do this by making you share a progress video every week for 52 weeks in a row. If you fail to post, I personally call you out and you fail.
7. The best and most fun place to learn guitar on the internet
8. Very good looking instructors!
Who I do not work with:
a. Uncertain people
b. Busy annoying high school students
c. Anyone looking for an easy route to be good
d. Information gatherers that never take action
e. People only looking to learn parts of songs
If you’re interested:
Step 1: Visit this link and watch the video on the page: brandondeon.com/52wgp-video
Step 2: Click the button below the video.
Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select a pricing plan.
If you have any questions, reply to this email and I will answer as many as I can between now and the deadline.
PS: The reason I'm closing the program after 90 students join is because we presently don't have the infrastructure to take more. If we took more, the quality of each student's experience would diminish. Some day we'll be big enough to take more.
Okay, bye.

Is there a way to explain this by using the hey joe intro?
Why only men?
Music theorist: it's not rocket science
Rocket scientist: it's not music theory
I think it's easier to understand with a piano than a guitar because each note can only be played one way
@@leonardopaulsen2116 yeah, but honestly I think its a lot more fun on guitar, theres just a sense of satisfaction after you've learned everything on every section of the fretboard, on piano theres only one way, so its just a bit annoying to everything.
@@deadosaka1712 Piano has gained my interest because I can improvise pretty well on guitar (well enough to noodle around for fun at least) but on piano, it just sounds flat and boring.
Hahahha
I literally uderstood it right away

I hate how I understand quantum physics more than music theory.
Real man
And people swear on their life that you need to know this to make good music😅
@@btytwwts you don't, but sometimes when I'm writing, I sometimes wish I knew more what I was doing, instead of trial and error my way through. For example, I found a lovely chord that I was finger picking on, and I wanted to progress, but I have no idea how to continue it through different chords because I don't know how to make random chords across the neck work together.
@Mudamaza I truly feel that, when I'm making music and I'm struggling to finish a melody I try to look up different keys are in a chord, which is how I stumbled on this video, I will admit though I never use any real instruments to make my music, just software and online sounds, but I bet I would need basic music theory to play a real one, also I would love to hear some of your music bro🫡
@@btytwwtsYou don't. The only purpose of music theory is to simplify the understanding of how and why good (or bad) music works.
um. what?
i love how theres 363 likes on this comment and no replies. 363 people also thought "um. what?" and no one had the answer 😂 i know music theory is crazy sounding for a while

#stretch out this circle on a piano.😊🎉
man i gotta take the time to properly learn music theory
Ik im a random but do you have any idea on where to start? I sure as hell don’t 😭
@@corn9251 nah dude im a total beginner 🥲

Just learn about how scales are made and which scales there are (modes!!!) and how chords are built in the scales
I’d recommend michael new’s series
That made a lot of sense, finally!
You’re joking right?
for anyone trying to memorise the sharps or flats in order:
Father Charles Goes Down And Ends Battle (F,C,G,D,A,E,B for sharps)
Battle Ends And Down Goes Charles' Father (B,E,A,D,G,C,F for flats)
hope this helps someone! 😊
This would have been a great help when I was learning Every Good Boy Does Fine and FACE. Thanks.
Well, it made more sense than that video 🤷♀️
Hopefully this isn’t a dumb question, but why does someone need to know that? Like how will it help write music? Or learn a solo, or write a solo. How will it help the creative part
@@j-ferrell144Im not sure of the true reason this would help someone else but as a middle schooler this helps me read some key signatures that have 5-6 flats easier IF I forget the order
Brilliant!!
I tried explaining the circle of fifths to a civilian and his nose literally started bleeding.
i keep on forgetting to comprehend the video💀
harder than my math exam
If music and math had a baby
I heard letters
I remember realizing the sharps and flats formula recently and my mind was blown but I do think this was explained a bit too fast even as a short. I was getting a little confused even though I knew this going in.
It also helps if you can understand an analog clock and see that the circle of fifths is basically a clock - and this just occurred to me.
A is in the 3 o'clock position and has 3 sharps. Eb is directly opposite in the 9 o'clock position and has 3 flats. Gb and F have 6 flats and sharps respectively.
*brain explodes*
wtf bro you destroyed my brain
Tbhhhh, for the direction of the fifths, I find it easier to simply Sharped the 7th degree, and keep the sharps from previous keys. Memorizing what to jump back to and sharpen is more of a challenge than I think this process should be
Maybe I am getting old but find it very difficult to follow your cadence 😅
Thank you that was awsome
This made me rethink about all my music theory knowledge
Did a wizard just cast a spell at me?
Great explanation!
Now if I can just visualize this while I'm playing...

It’s not music theory says the physics teacher…

Thanks mate, finally I'm getting it
Thanks for a concise and easily digestible way on explaining this topic. I didn’t know the trick on knowing which notes gets the sharps and the flats in a key using this tool.
All those 15 minute long videos have failed to do what this CZcams Short--of all things--has taught me. Thanks man 🎉
This is literally just a word salad for me and i play guitar and am learning theory, just a bunch of words😂
Honestly amazong breakdown ❤️
Thank you so much that last part really helped me I've bine trying to fully understand the circle but now I truly get it
You really broke this down. Preciate it

thanks now i can remember the ciricle of fifth. Super useful tricks
I can’t wait for this shit to become intuitive. Been staying at this for 15 years, it’s becoming clearer and clearer but damn.
I do believe this is very informative, thank you. But I'm still like why are you yelling at me? 😂 😊
Went straight above my head 😢💔
Hell yeah thanks
My brain:Damn damn damn 💡
How is this supposed to make sense
Clockwise the notes are separated according to their 5ths, hence that after C is G; and counterclock the notes are separated according to their 4ths hence that after C is F. Within the circle there is the minor relative of the scales above (because the A minor scale is the minor equivalent of the C major scale = same notes A B C D E F G// C D E F G A B).
@@viictor1309sir that also did not make sense
@@viictor1309 makes sense
@@philipthesquid4979 It's a means to find the accidents on every scale, the circle is composed in such way that as it goes clockwise more accidents appear according to the notes before the past one (the G scale has only F# as an accident; the D scale has F# and C#; the A scale has F#, C#, G#)
You should actually try to understand it
Saving this video
I feel like if I had a single clue of basic music theory, Deons videos would be insanely helpful. Who knows, one day.
Explanation: The letters mean are the who when C and then B he. The and then he are is the F# it is was. For who when he, the circle around goes the when right is the are. He then is an D, which later E into will turn the. For the G, B will then C# and are is an and then the when he is a letter clockwise the going. After that, you will.
Hope this helps.
Dude!! Liked and subscribed!
Broo it's like my mind is overheating right now haha😂
I was lost after the first 5 seconds
I understood the theory of relativity better than the circle.
Not to forget the relative minors have the same flats as their major counterparts

Wow, great 😊
Just subbed
Ive been playing for 1 year and actually understand all of this and more. I find music theory very interesting.
My brain hurts
CAN WE GET A CIRCLE ON THE SCREEN PLEASE 🗣️🗣️
My brain hurty
Thanks for making that confusing 😂
What?
actually very helpful visual
at almost near the end ish of the video you completely fucked my head
Obsessing over piano for a couple years made music theory a lot easier, I assume a lot of viewers are guitar players but if you learn all 24 major/minor scales on piano and learn them well you will be able to visualize keys very easily in your head. This can obviously happen on guitar but the piano is laid out so logically in literal black and white for you to visualize. Like, i don’t need to remember that a 4th up from F is Bb, i just see it in my head as a 4th on a keyboard since I drilled the scale so hard
THIS MADE SOMETHING CLICK IN MY BRAIN
My brain : 🤯
i'll have gotten a doctorate before i understand music theory
Ily
Im glad im not the only one not getting it
Well it's actually both depending on which way you go
I explaned this and even with triangles, squares, etc, to felow musicans and they look at me like i was crazy and not having an idea of what i was talking about, music is math very simple to understand
My head blows
Ok can you explain that to me as if I were a 5 year old
To me it's always made more sense to orient the circle with the flats on the right. That way, you can read it clockwise and it's kind of like a chain of V->I's
Let me call you an Uber.
You're an Uber.
This is not an explanation; it's just a description.
Well thats Made it clear 🤯
Just remember BEADGCF and then you’ll notice that on the fretboard in that order
the fact that he knows this like he knows how to walk.....
HOW?
I know it's a shorts video but as a beginner this is totally confusing
I’m even more confused now 😊

If you know the notes on the board, and what your intervals are, is this even necessary? I’ve never been able to find a use for the circle of 5ths and always feel like I’m missing something
Yo when did you become sorcerer supreme? 🎵
Now i'm depressed, thank you!
I have a question, if the chords go from G to C did we move down a 4th or up a fifth?
