They left out "son of Her Majesty Queen Constantina, Charlotte Ermintrude Gweinyvere Maisie (Maisie? Maisie!) Marguerite Ann" and "son of His Majesty, King Maximillian, Godfrey Ladislaus Leopold Sidney (Sidney? Sidney!) Frederick John" !!!!

bucca2 I'm pretty sure that line was made directly for the version with Whoopi, Whitney and Brandy and I'm pretty sure this version is from the original Julie Andrews one which did NOT have those lyrics

Cheyenne Printup Those lines were in Julie Andrews version of Cinderella, plus some lyrics that weren't in Brandy's version

I'm not a fan of this "updated" version, which I presume originated from the 1997 movie. IMO, the original 1957 version was much better. Although, the cast all look like they are having a "ball." :)

without being a bragger, the first show with Julie Andrews was so much better and more like a Broadway show! my Dad sang this and it was so much better written and sung. more fun and more of a rhythm to it.
(this one is terrible. who cares about this Ball - sounds boring. and they cut out most of it. Why? for heaven’s pity sake? Where’s the good one? all the songs are better.

@@feralbluee I spent all of yesterday watching all the iterations of the Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. The original 1957 version was by far the best!

Alice Harper there’s no one like Julie Andrews and all the other actors were perfect, too. i always wonder what happened to the little girl who sang perfectly in time, “and me, i’m in the second grade!”. LOL
just for info, i’m in New York City. where are you? also, i just missed being a war baby - so what am i? 😸🐾

I agree. This one is terrible. I like the original version the best. My 2nd favorite version is the 1 with Leslie and Warren.
