  • 2nd visit to Truro station on the Cornish Main Line and 1st since October 5th 2018 and also the terminus of the Maritime Line from Falmouth Docks.

The Falmouth Line or Maritime Line opened to Falmouth docks in 1862 with GWR services today providing a half hourly service Monday’s - Saturdays and hourly on Sundays formed of Class 150/2s.
The Half hourly services were added in 2009 following a remodelling of a passing loop at Penwyn.
However to work effectively turnaround times average 4 minutes at Truro or Falmouth Docks
Services via Platforms 2 and 3 to and from Penzance provided by local stopping services from Plymouth and Exeter St Davids served by Class 150s, 158s and Castle HSTs.
