- I wanted to post a video about the tires I recently bought. It was hard finding a similar video expressing how good or potentially bad these tires are. I took a chance and man am I impressed! After about a week and right around 1,000 miles, I am really happy I took a chance and saved some money. These tires are made by GT Radial tires...not GT tires. I will attached a link below, the tires are about $221 per tire plus taxes, fees and warranty. Originally I set out to purchase the stoke size which is equal to a 32in tire, they didn't have them in stock. With snow coming I decided to go with what they did have in stock and go up in size to a 33in tire. The tread pattern is impressive and has done really well in snow and ice so far. Save the money, take a chance and buy these tires! Let me know what questions come up!

I work for Discount Tire and I joke that Rocky Mountains are the budget KO2 (in a good way), great tire for the money 👍🏼
Just bought a set in Ca from America's tire same company I think for half the price , the kos were $282 a tire the rocky mountains were $125 for a Nissan Xterra 265/70/16 the ko were almost $1500 with the certs the Rockies were $720with the certs crazy difference in the price when both have with 50,000 warranty
Do you happen to know if these are 2 or 3 ply sidewall?

Agreed. I just bought a set and usually run KO2’s. These tires are just as good and feel awesome on road and off road. The sales people did they to steer me towards spending more money but I knew exactly the value these bring. Stuck to my decision and I’m happy.
I got a set of these mid January of 2024. Been fantastic. Price was very competitive, and they have a great ride on the road. I would definitely recommend them!

Nothing but good things to say about RM's on my '08 Ram 1500. I actually ordered a different tire and they couldn't get them in so they gave me these for the same cost I was going to pay for the other tires. Very impressed so far. Good on the highway, and quiet too. Also good off road in the mountains on forest roads. Great value for the money. Recommended.

Just bought a set for a Nissan Xtterra 265/70/16 in Ca from America's tire the same co just different names the kos were $282 dollare each at $1500 for set with the certs for free replacement the Rockies were $125 each $ 720 a set with the certs for free replacement if tires can't be fixed both have 50,000 mile warranty just f?cking crazy the price difference you could buy 2 sets for the price of one
The sipes down the center tread run the full depth is a plus. Just wondering about road noise on the highway?
they are VERY quiet, i just put a set on my 2017 f350. I came from goodyear ultraterrains
The gt tire do they make falken? I heard these are made by the same company. I have falken wildpeaks and theyve been great.

I just had to make this comment because I've seen this misconception on a lot of tire videos. If you want a tire to be good in the snow, you don't want the tire to throw/clear the snow from the tire. Snow on snow has much better grip than rubber on snow. A good snow tire will actually hold snow on the tire rather than clearing the snow like a mud tire will. That's why mud tires suck in the snow.
What about road noise?
I have these on my 4Runner and I find road noise very silent at highway speeds
hardly any, had them for a month now and no complaints.
