Fun fact about tails doll. In the archie sonic comics, tails doll was actually a demon-like entity that tried to kill everyone and destroy the world. So in a specific canon, tails doll is actually a murderous, bloodthirsty demon.

honestly i had no idea about the references in triple trouble until you pointed them out, super neat detail
The Tails one connected to Chemical Plant I sadly couldn't tell. But the Knuckles and especially the Eggman connections were a lot more obvious. (For me the Knuckles one had to be pointed out, though Sonic 2 Boss theme is almost infamous so that one even I recognized)

if you listen closely, tails’ rhythm matches that of the intro to chemical plant’s theme. focus on the rhythms rather than the actual melody.

It's really sad that not many people know who Fleetway is since he is the only one in the mod who isn't an EXE variant and he has appeared in the comics. Nice to see the mod giving him the recognition he deserves

I'm not sure why but in triple trouble, Dr. Robotnik wasn't supposed to make an appearance, at least in sonic.exe point of view. Because perhaps it was supposed to be the main characters to shine in. But Ivo just straight up interrupts and raps BF instead, with his own song and style. Also, he was supposed to have the shortest song, as some point of the song, exe tries to gain control but he straight up ignores him and gaining more time before exe takes it back by force.
He constantly laughs, presumably to exe for his failures on killing bf.
It shows that Ivo is still himself after death and probably just wanted to have some revenge.
Edit: Press F for EXE. He's gone alongside the rest due to the drama.

Hang on a sec, look at the third cutscene very closely. I literally just now noticed, but Sonic.exe's lean is very similar to Eteled's lean for his crazed left pose.

That part is my favorite of Tail's section in Triple Trouble. Wow, that's so interesting.
Its so nice to see an actually good explaining of every character in a mod! I have already seen misinformation being tossed around here and there and in every video there was some major flaw. This one didnt actually have anything bad about it. Good job!
Just a theory, while the title of the song "sunshine" does make sense to reference a song that has sunshine in the name, I think it might also be referencing sunshine.exe, a strange little .exe game (though suffering from usual fan-made .exe game tendencies) focusing around tails being the corrupted character. I haven't seen anyone mention that, so I thought I'd bring it up.

Fun fact about Fleetway Super Sonic: Fleetway, as many are aware, fires a death laser early on in Chaos. And that's it. One death laser. The reason is because when he would try to fire another during testing, the game crashed.
Another fun fact about triple trouble is that when you have rings and you miss a normal note you actually loose a ring too!
I think Endless is intentionally goofy, bouncy, and energetic, as Creep doesn't mean "Fun" in a corrupted way.

fun fact: the pixelated animations in you cant run are a modified version of the sonic 1 sprites, hoever, the original sonic.exe sprites, are a modified version of the sonic 3 sprites. additionally, the icons for the pixelated version of sonic in you cant run is actually more based on the too-slow icon.

Another addition in 2.0 is that Sonic.EXE’s voice line that’s part of the first Sonic.exe song in the mod was given a cutscene with lip-syncing instead of it being part of the notes, which was cool before 2.0 released. And you forgot to mention that the crash animation that plays after waiting 10 seconds without retrying after losing in Endless was changed, becoming more cursed.

Random fact: Faker/EXE's second song's name "Black Sun" is a real symbol that was used by the Nazis, but wasn't nearly as common as the Swastika. The "Black Sun" symbol became much more commonly used by Post-Nazi Germany and Neo-Nazis because not as many people knew what it was so they could get away with it easier, and with the Swastika dead from over the time of decay, the Black Sun became more relative to Nero-Nazis/Post-Nazi Germany.

Something I have to correct you with is that EXE might be connected to the PC port of .exe... I think. Where in one version, Sonic gets possessed to become Exe and looks normal to trick his friends to trust him before going for the kill. Also, in the Knuckles segment you're left to him likely because, in the original story, when he tries to get Sonic, he appears a few feet behind him and rinse and repeat for a bit, so it makes sense to have BF be "behind" him when it starts
pc port is its own thing and EXE is its own. They are not connected and are made by different creators.
seeing your description I have a feeling you thought of yet other sonic.exe but I dont remember now what their name was.
It should probably be noted that the whole "demon possessing Sonic" thing never occured in Sonic.EXE (PC port), or the remake. Those were meant to follow the original story, and its been confirmed that Sonic and Sonic.EXE are 2 different entities.

Here's a fun fact I don't think anyone has picked up on: the damage you see on the characters in triple trouble correlate to the body parts seen in act one. Tails' tails cut off partially, knuckles' right hand, and the right side of robotnik's face barely hanging on, hence the huge gash down the middle of his head

In Tails Doll's song, it doesn't actually go into first person. It just zooms into TD and your arrows move towards him.
i miss sonic adventure 2 it was my favorite series out of any other games, the texture of the water reminds me of the crazy taxi water when i glitched outside the map and drove around the map for hours, it was so fun, i really miss my childhood games, l;-;
