This could be the single greatest black metal song ever made. There are roughly four different parts to this song, and each one on its own would have made an epic song. But here they are, all combined together in an unbelievable journey to musical nirvana! This may sound a little over the top but to me, this is the Beethoven's Ninth Symphony of Black Metal. That's how epic this is.

They say we have become more advanced than a decade or two ago, but if that's the case, why is music from the '80s and '90s as well as the whole culture of that period still head and shoulders above the stuff prevalent today?
Maybe because you grew up with it. The same way that "your father" praise 60's or 70's music and "your grandfather" praise 50's and so on. "Good music" is timeless.
In what way do you mean more advanced? Not really. Technology has become more advanced. Medicine as well. And so on. People and culture? About the same as always.

1-2-3 Learn Norwegian with Sigurd.. 3:00 No one ever pronounces words like that in Norwegian speech, he sounds like fucking Norwegian Microsoft Sam. But Sigurd is smart. He knows that you guys don't know that! And btw, it makes it easier to follow the written lyrics. Just remember, in BM there are the originators and the profiters.
