It is like a “personal VPN sever” that only you can access. The IP never changes. They are good to avoid streaming services from detecting and blocking you (because they can see that your IP changes every time you connect to the VPN to access their site, so you’re static IP doesn’t change and won’t be blocked), for higher speeds, and to prevent you from obtaining an IP someone has previously used for malicious acts (hacking in a video game for example). Surfshark offers this as their “dedicated IP” but it’s at an additional cost. Hope this helps!
Racism in Nord ads makes me disgusted. I will not renew. Nord"s customer service group addressed their racist behavior as acceptable.
