On today's video I discuss rounded shoulders.
What causes rounded shoulders? I find there are 2 main causes of rounded shoulders. First, the shoulders become rounded forward by tightness in the pectoralis minor muscle. The pec minor often becomes tight of time from excessive sitting. Second, weakness in the rhomboid muscles, both rhomboid minor and rhomboid major. When the rhomboid muscles are weak, they allow the shoulders to be pulled forward by the pec minor.
How can I fix rounded shoulders? In today's video, I first demonstrate how to perform fascial release work on the pec minor muscle. This will help break up any fascial adhesion (scar tissue) in the pec minor. Next, I demonstrate some exercises to help strengthen the rhomboid muscles.
Give these techniques a try. Leave me a comment in the comment section down below and let me know how it works for you.

Remember the movie "Jerry Maguire" and the "you complete me" thing? Well....the rhomboids...my friend....and everything I have been doing....to fix my situation...the rhomboids have definitely been neglected in my life and this segment....really completes (I think) my understanding of what I must do....which is everything but not many people specifically talk about the rhomboids. I think I will zero in on this for a bit and find out more thx a million.
