This song is one of my favorites and I think the music production is brilliant! Of course Al's singing is great, but those layers of keyboards, the guitar and the key changes are what makes this song really stand out. Something else I really love is the string section in the middle part of the song. That's the kind of stuff I love hearing in music, and sadly, NO ONE is making music like this anymore. Hell... this whole music genre no longer exists. Popular music nowadays is pretty much one dimensional and lacks any kind of imagination.
Very similar feel to his theme song he did for the series "Moonlighting" in the 80s. I think that's part of the nostalgia for me and my love for this song.
