Ha-Ha! Co-mingling of works and faith. How much? How often? How do they know whose saved or not? They don't! Only God knows. These guys are self-righteous fruit inspectors and dangerous. Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." Matthew 7:15 Jesus would know.

@@michaelferriart The meaning of scripture is not to be taken out of context. Read James 2:14-26. Hope this clarifies things a little bit. God bless.

@@T.J.Morgan Brother, Speaking of scripture taken "out of context" - Unfortunately neither TF nor JM sight any scripture to back up their "false convert" statements. If their source is James (which you sighted) James refers to his listeners as "brethren" not false converts. "Faith without works is still faith since we are saved by grace through faith not of our works/performance/law keeping. We are saved "unto" good works. Ephesians 2:10. Faith that is dead is still faith, its just ineffective and unprofitable in this (temporal) life. In the same way the spirit gives life to the body, good works give life to our faith. Of course not all who attend church are true believers (no big shock there) just like there are true believers who may not attend church. Self-righteous fruit inspectors will never be satisfied by looking for outward signs of righteousness in others. Let's keep our focus on Jesus who IS our righteousness and who ALONE gives us (what all our good works can never give) - "assurance" of salvation and eternal life. Galatians 2:20-21 Be blessed! Just curious - Are you a Calvinist?
