- Roblox Doors isn't that scary, so I'm going to spend a week remaking it so it's actually scary. I'm going to create a whole seek model from scratch in blender, texture it, rig it, and then probably throw the project away after i'm done.

This is an amazing horror game prototype! Maybe you could add on to it, like making the game longer, less buggy, more fleshed out, and maybe even adding a subtle heartbeat noise would be nice! :D

this is the old version of doors, and those entities are fan made. You also missed the greenhouses, and both figure bits. Recommend you play the game before recreating it :)

I admire your effort man. But I recommend that you should play the game first then try and replicate it but in a more scary and with more realistic graphics. That’s all I gotta say for you. I want you to remaster Door’s again and make it better. I see many potential in you so go and play Door’s then make it more scary.

Doors is scary the first 3-4 times you played . But the game was made so every time you die you learn how to play it so it get less scary after some time (like 70% of horror games) . And play the game first before you recreate it cuz this look like some weird doors my grandma would get me thinking its the real one .

As a DOORS veteran, this was PAINFUL to watch. The entities you had shown were fanmade, (except for Seek, that one's official) and also the main object of DOORS isn't actually collecting stuff, it's going through 100 Rooms with special challenges at doors 30, 50, 70, and 100. You also only included one entity. There are a bunch of other problems, but it would be nice if you played DOORS and made an actual remake, because this has potential.
5:52 That's not how Seek (Pedro in your game) works, that's how Eyes (another entity in DOORS) works, Seek chases you at Door 30 and 70.

he probably didnt even play the game, my theory is that he saw how much visits doors gets on youtube so he looked up some footage of doors (seek chase, doors flickering, players picking up items, etc as seen in the video) but didnt even play the game as seen in many parts, for example in minute 2:40 he didnt even know those were fan made entities or when he thought you already spawned in with a flashlight and he didnt even know the game takes place in a hotel (in minute 0:15)
Someone got mad, this was made in a week, by 1 person, opposed to many months by a studio, also he clearly said he has never played

@@BeningignW just saying (when you get jumpscared in game) the pitch is randomised, so if you get a low pitch one time and then a high pitch another time, it would catch you by surprise. furthermore, his movements in game when he is coming through the doors sometimes randomises a small amount for when it starts coming back. So having that happen twice in game at max volume would make you jump, as it’s a natural human instinct to get scared at really loud (and odd) noises, so I agree.

What did you use to make the game
Unity. There are some tutorials that I made that show you how to make a 3D game in unity like this.
i can see that you have game development skills but there is no way you’ve ever even played doors. all of those “entities” are fanmade rush clones, where’s the library, ever heard of a greenhouse, isn’t doors a hotel??? you very clearly did little to no research. also whats with doors not being scary? i mean sure it’s not scary when you know how every mechanic works. it’s like playing spooky’s jumpscare mansion but too lazy to actually try so you don’t know that its a horror game. you were planning on making a better version of doors but its worse in every aspect. like why is seek slow and have eye’s mechanic, and since when was the rooms a major area required in the game, its literally just a one off easter egg. just do better man, like i love your stuff and i realize that you try but like you didn’t do any research at all. hope the game gets better someday ❤❤
TLDR: i can explain this entire comment in one sentence: RTX makes no sense when this game has way worse graphics than doors.

also, the footage you used and saw was old with the graphics quality turned down, and the entities that are "faces slapped onto a floating head" you showed were all fan-made, there are only 2 of those in the actual game and they are well-designed.
also, the game is already a somewhat scary, especially on doors 50 and 90-100.
i recommend actually playing the game.
