Lil Xan Deserves His Failure

  • Lil Xan was once in what seemed like an unlosable situation. Three apartments in LA, the most viewed music video on Lyrical Lemonade, and a booming social media presence. Over the last few years however, this has changed dramatically. It would appear as though he doesn't have $30,000 left to claim full ownership of his Mercedes Benz G Wagon, hinting at the rough seas he happens to be sailing through. However, if Lil Xan had simply made a few different decisions, his downfall might have been avoidable.
From Mac Miller, to Soundcloud rapping, to Lil Xan's victim complex, this is, Why Lil Xan's Career Died / Lil Xan Deserves His Failure.
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2 XO ❤

Well like T-Pain said rappers like him & the Soundcloud era rappers they were lead to believe as long as they kept rapping they would have infinite money to do dumb shit like this or worse (T-Pain bought a lambo and sold it in less than a day for 80% less than what he bought it for just because he could) since they would make it back in like a few months.
But like J. Cole said in 1985 they only blew up because of a trend and when their audience grew up they would fall off like Lil Pump, Lil Skies, Lil Xan, Smokepurpp, etc. Rappers who people liked when they were 14 - 16 but after they grew up and it wasn't a trend to idolize people like this they quickly became broke and irrelevant in the industry more so being punching bags every time it's was revealed how little units they sold & how no one was attending their shows.

There is something to be said about the negative effects of "suffering from early success" and not understanding or learning what it takes to actually be successful.
When I changed careers and started my first big boy "commercial B2B sales" job, through almost complete beginners luck and no effort, I landed several large sales that made me think I was awesome and my job was easy. Im a really hard working person but seeing success come easy gave me the false belief that I didn't really need to do much and I'd still be successful, and in that time I didn't learn the tools necessary to actually be successful.
Fast forward several months and it was a complete 180, I almost had to start over and it was extremely discouraging and stressful feeling like I was only getting worse, when I just hadn't been putting in the effort necessary to do my job. Thankfully I figured that out before it was too late

Also when you hear the backstory of his career, and all of the once in a life time opportunities he had that he squandered it again makes it hard to feel bad. He sold out was his problem. What drew his original fan base was his humble start off. Filming a song in his room, it was relatable. As soon as he got a taste of fame though, he turned pretty much into a narcissist acting like no one was better than him and he could say and do what he wanted. And that’s what he did during all his public appearances. Showed up high as a kite and said very regrettable things without filter. He’s the perfect example of why you shouldn’t get too cocky.

The drugs definitely played a major part in this, since it can cloud your judgement. Although he is still responsible for making those decisions to begin with. I understand withdrawals and how bad they are. Once you go clean its hard to get back into what you loved doing, I struggled with that for about a year. But its something you have to ride out. He's probably doing rehab and taking suboxone to get off the other drugs. From there its just tapering off of that slowly until you dont need it anymore. After all that its getting away from the people that made use. He probably needs some antidepressants and more therapy to talk everything out with someone all this takes a long time. So it's up to him.

They are very ignorant about how our brains and reward systems work and how addiction completely changes your wiring. Its a really hard problem to solve, because at a point it does become a disease and your brain is screaming at you constantly (even when you're asleep) to get drugs. But once you overcome the initial withdrawl and stuff, a lot needs to be done by the addict, and if the people around them try to do the work for them it will just end up restarting the cycle. Being homeless was the best thing that could of happened to me at that time. But I was a rare case, and I know plenty of people who just wont accept life without constant substance abuse. Shit music is still a thing 99% of new music in 2022 is straight trash. The music industry as a whole is failing. Its all the same shitty beats or stolen beats from a old song. Nothing new and original in 2022.

Idk maybe im a bleeding heart, but i kinda empathize with the guy. It seems like he lacked guidance and direction from a young age and didnt have a responsible adult who cared enough to rear him properly. So he got swept up in the industry life and got more than what he bargained for. Could happen to any young person who doesnt have strong positive adult influences in their life. I wonder what his upbringing was like

I just take one look at the guy and wish he wasnt on the planet because it's a perfect example of what the youth has gone to, or at least how far down they can go in terms of life directions. Just another sleepy person who got really lucky that he even made it out of the gene pool in the first place...maybe I'm too mean but I don't feel for him one bit

@@masterodisguise2983 Perhaps you shouldn't be looking at a lil Xan video as the example of youth today, as it is a tiny cross section. It is only feeding your confirmation bias. ....Here's something you may not realize. A famous philosopher once said to his friend "The youth of today have no respect for their elders and for society at large".
      that was 2000 years ago.
whenever people get to a certain age, say 35,45, 50 or so, they often tend to look at the youth that replaced them and think that new generation is just so far gone.
When you look at the real data to understand these things, it actually shows that young people today are, on the whole, far more advanced than any other generations ever. Are they still cringey and dumb? Yes, often., but less so on the whole and...
...so were you. And so was I. We ALL were when we were young. We just tend to not remember it very well.
And you also have to look at your own confirmation bias.
Without even being aware of it, you will look at certain examples, like the one you talked about here, and you will make note of it because it fits your preconception
That's just conformation bias at work./
Why don't you look at what the local chess club is doing?
I'll bet none of them would behave in a way that you have noticed in your example here.
Why don't you start looking at examples of young people who are bright and not all about attention seeking or materialism, or whatever it is that you see as the problem with todays youth.
you are talking about all youth, and there is just as much variety in them than there ever was, including your generation./
The only difference is, they grew up in the information age.
So, that means that the smart ones KNOW how to use that to their advantage. And are going to be more mature than any prior generation ever could be.
To repeat, perhaps you shouldn't be looking at a lil Xan video as the example of youth today, as it is a tiny cross section. It is only feeding your confirmation bias.
A bias, by the way, that we all have. Once you are aware of it, you can be less and less beholden to it.

The gist of why his career failed is because he doesn't work hard for it. What does that have to do with not having people tell you no? He had someone setting up meetings for him that he chose not to go to. That has nothing to do with having yes men.

Way to show the local family owned small business called "target" some love Xan, I heard they were really struggling to stay in business. I mean in 2022 their revenues were only $108 BILLION dollars, they are seriously struggling!!! I think those 2 copies of Destiny you bought might have single handedly kept Target alive this year. This is where the lie of the music industry in general can really hurt young people getting into it. He has a lot of his own problems, mainly that he doesn’t want to work hard. But making music is hard, it’s consistency. It’s hours and hours writing and defining your thoughts, feelings, and fantasy into art. And making that art marketable. He likely worked really hard on his single which blew up; but then he realized “oh I guess I gotta do this 12 more times this year” and instead of trying he just slap dashed some lyrics together and lazily spoke them over stock beats (with minor alteration for originality)
To any kid who wants to get into music, you’re lucky if you make the kind of money Xan made. You’re usually just working a 9-5 somewhere in the cog of the machine. Or in my friend’s case who works as a sound engineer now; a 9-9 job 10 days in a row with one day off before going back.
