- This is an abandoned house I explored and it was left by an elderly couple and then sold at auction. This is why!

Exploring old people's abandoned houses reminds of when I was a kid exploring my grandparent's attic.
All of those photos and the silence just gave me a sense of overwhelming sadness. It's the sense of the world moving on without you. Sad; just very sad. I'm glad you didn't get hurt though.
glad you asked and got the OK by the owner to go in you have my respect for that my friend
"Did you find out who this family is, and why did they leave like that?, the pics that were left behind broke my heart!!!" we will never know"!!!! 😯😢
And someone's trophy, looked like it had the date 1991.
Sad to think of this couple in this huge house of relics. So much stuff left behind! Can you imagine what is submerged in that basement?Yowzaa....
Sad to think a couple spends a life time collecting family photos, and small treasures. and the family has no interest in saving. Its as if the family didn't care and threw the couple away. To me this is a very sad exploration. Good job Thanks for the share.
Owls were popular back in the 70's. I saw a few antiques in there. Watch out for Lymes disease, my son got lymes disease, he got very sick. My son was on antibiotics for a long time, hes ok now, we caught it in early stages. 10 days after finding a tick buried on his stomach, he started sweating, muscle aches, fever, and headaches. I remembered the tick and in the morning took him to his doctor, test comfirmed positive for lymes disease. If a tick buries in you, tape the tick in tape, and date it.
I can't help thinking that at one time the family who lived here were very proud of the place and how many happy memories are embedded into the foundation!!
Glad to have you back, I like that fact that you show the photos and newspapers. Gives us a time. It's too bad the family didn't pick up the photos, I lost most of my photos, many handed down from grandparents, in a fire. Can't get them back and I didn't even get the chance to scan them. I wanted to find all of my family history. Many of my relatives fled Europe during the Nazi invasion. those bees must be honey bees, if they were African honey bees you would already be under attack. B safe please...Thanks Blessings.

What is wrong with people? How can their family members not care about about at their families history? The don’t have to take all of them, but a selected few and who knows maybe they.
Many of the pictures and wall hangings are from home interiors. I was buying them back in the early 80s. They were exclusively sold at home parties or book parties, like Tupperware.
You missed that awesome old door in the garage. It was leaning sideways on the back wall of the garage!
It was probably the original front door! It had an awesome design...small circular windows combined with-full length glass, with what looks like hand turned scroll work on the front. I'd love to restore that. Parts of the glass were probably stained glass at some point, if not all the glass. And don't get me started on the door knob!
Good work!
Globe Globe I have several of those doorknobs I've rescued from abandoned houses. People just throw them in the scrap heap fire too many times.
Ticks are awful!!! I have been battling Lyme Disease for the past several years! It's a horrible life changing disease so yes be safe!
you tube mms , I had it doctors fall short of the true treatment time needed
Orchids n Lyme me too. Lymes disease sucks!!
in the end ,all your possessions fade away.
immrnoidall just not the debt. That will endure forever. Shame that these days overwhelmingly we will all die in debt and the state will come for our stuff to cover the debts. What a system.
Glad you're back. Again, you're my favorite explorer.
First thing I notice, Freemasonry the symbols are prevalent on that wall plack, whoever owns that home was dabbling with darkness.
When I watch these kinds of videos I always wonder why they don't look in draws and suitcases. I found a $10.00 bill taped to the back of a vanity. People hide money in purses too.
Who ever lived there was a Master Mason Scottish Rite 32nd degree that clock that you showed in the beginning awesome video.
And a second-place beauty queen.
Cultist? did not do much good tho did it?
From the 50s.
it is awesome to see honey bees. we need them
We have one of those holes in our house. The upstairs part has been boarded up for the floor but the dining room ceiling still has the original grate. It was a vent. Back in the day they had floor furnaces and those holes would allow the heat to go upstairs using the heat rises principal.
geoffrey walker my mom's house has one too. The original part of her home was built in the early 1900s, and it was built with rough cut logs. We know this bc she had an electrical problem upstairs, when we tore down the walls we found the raw logs and it was insulated with NEWSPAPER all dates pre 1915. There is the hole and grate and she's kept it. She's restoring it to what it woulsve looked like back then.
Great video it’s a shame to see all those old photographs left behind photographs always tell a story
The pictures always get to me- like ghosts looking out at you from the past
Something about those rose gold couches, lol. Everyone seemed to have them, no one takes them, and I don't blame them!!
Texas Life with Julie Hughes If they are just going to ruin, and no one else wants them then why not if you can give them a good home!
Oh how I hate those horrible acrylic tubs! The 1959 newspaper! That's a keeper.
I love your videos. It makes me sad though to see these houses that are left after the people have gone just rotting away. Be careful when you're out,and about. ;)
I worked with the elder for several years and the state of the house is not uncommon at least in my experience. Many don't have help to clean up and others, well they won't let anyone help. It's sad but everything is a memory they want to hold on to or they lived through a time when you never ever threw something away in case you need it.
Please ALWAYS choose your safety over an explore.
Thank you for taking us with you on your adventures.
Please be careful.
If the house is tented and sprayed for termites the other bugs will die, too. The mice, snakes, and other pests will die too. It's a shame it was left like this.
As bad of shape as that place is in there is some things that can be salvaged such as glassware, antiques, a few lamps, light fixtures, and anything metal can be recycled, copper, steel, etc. Good video!
Great vid bro !! I find myself liking more Abandoned Home Explorations bc of the Old Stuff left behind. Your basically walking into a real life Time Capsule.
Those owls are a masonic symbolism. Its goes along w that Freemason plaque you found earlier in the video.
Omg....That doll with the purple skirt on the headboard looked like something Iola would've made on Mama's Family....lmao
You just caused me to jump 3 feet with the bee scare!
DUDE! what you should do is make the bed up perfectly and put debris under blanket to fake some-1 sleeping there.Ever house you explore! Kind of like YOUR CALLING CARD.Then put hidden cams that go right to your phone.THAT would be you Tube GOLD man!Let me know what you think.LOL
BTW- if that doesnt produce shat in pants-nothing will HAHAHAHHAHHAHHhhahhahahahahahIt may even end some up + comer explorers dreams,,,hehe
The hole in the floor to the upstairs was for a stove pipe to heat the upstairs and vent to the roof.
Pretty sad that none of their relatives didn't want any of the belongings cause they didn't want to bother with it,or they don't care
Nice one Hunter, another great explore...nice to see you back. Had a few bites myself but no ticks thank god as they sound nasty.
I know you aren't supposed to take stuff, but that newspaper page is worth some $.
ppitstop38 Even if not for $$, for its content.
ppitstop38 Nixon was not President in 1959. Maybe a senator then?
Ever asked to take anything cool, especially here if the house is beyond repair and he may knock it down?
Nice ! I just started watching your vids ! Love it ! Awesome! Of course I had to subscribe , especially after that OUCH!! Lol
sad, one would think their relatives would have took and saved the pictures.
Good video. I was born in 1962 so that paper is actually older than I am and I don't see that too much in video's lol
Kimberly O'Brien
The paper was probably 1969 when Nixon was Pres. Not 59 when he was VP.
I loved it the first time & love it even more. Thank you for this journey...something I can only dream of doing. Please stay safe out there! Loving Hugs!
Nice!!! I love watching exploreers vids. Oooh thanks so much. Great find
I would love to have that awsome retro dinning room set!!!!😍😍😍😍😍
You get bit because you're so sweet and you make good videos 😂
So much cute furniture in this one :(
Very sad to see no one cared to even take all those old photographs. 😞 So much goes to waste.
You Guys probably already know this. But I feel I should tell You. When Your going into abandon Houses, Mansion, Buildings and so on. You should have a backpack, with a mask to put cover Your nose and mouth, so You be breathing in mold. You should have 2 bottles of water. One to drink, and one in case of emergency. You should also bring like off spray. If You get stung, make a little mud pack and put it were You got stung. Also pack some Band-Aids, and ace bandage. And of course a cell phone. You never know what You might get bit by. Keep having fun and stay safe.
I really like your videos you look inside of stuff like boxes, and closets, frig, and attics, to see what kind of persons lived there and what their interests were.

You captured some very beautiful shots.
Little disappointed. You hardly opened any drawers or cabinets, didn't look in the suitcases and you rarely look closely at books or open them. Seemed very rushed.
The bees where ok, they where just swarming you where in no danger.thanks for the video ,al
was the owner going to demolish or try and renovate this property. The basement believe it or not could have water pumped out and the source of leak found. Enjoyed this video. Peace.
It seems like I'm right there with you!!!! Liked and subscribed!
+Terry Jackson Thank u that's awesome, becuz that's wht I shoot for, no pun intended ha
You should really wear a breathing mask when going into these places; who knows what your breathing in you need to protect yourself. Your crew does a wonderful job; I wish I could be there sometimes. God Bless; keep safe.
sad when you find out an old couple died and there are obviously family photos that are just left there......did the family not want them or want to take anything belonging to their parents/aunt and uncle
Glad you're back, your explores are one of the best! Thought for a bit a snake finally found you, glad no such thing, tho pretty bad about the ticks :( Take care!
I hope the elderly couple lived to 100 years of old-age?
Oh I don't blame you for not going in the basement or getting stung
that place is one amazing time capsule
Great explore man looking forward to house beside there.
There was more poison sumac and poison ivy around that property than I've seen anywhere! This year I had poison 5 times from exploring. I have taken a break. Sounds like the ticks got to your happy areas...😂. They go there like a magnet
quiet filming, not too much talking, this is great, go on like this !
Someone has been in this house & ransacked it. Creepy cleaver on the floor. I'm assuming no family. That's sad that an old couple owned this house & when they died it was just let go. How old was this house? OMG! Basement flooded. I guess that's why the guy said it was not repairable. Those old tar like shingles usually had asbestos in them.
I live in the rural south. The guy probably bought it just because he could. It's a tear down for sure - too much water damage. And families leave pictures behind a lot because they took the ones they wanted. It's mainly just old junk and the family had long ago taken anything of value - there probably wasn't much. It's all tossed around because family pawed through it. Nothing weird about the Mason stuff either. It was a club for most of those guys. People read too much into stuff. Just an old house full of old stuff no one really wants in a place with no jobs. No big mystery. Ashes to ashes we all are.
I take it that this is in Ohio? We visited in the Southern section near Williamsport a few months ago and notice that people in that state love their Mountain Dew, lol! Just like Dr. Pepper is king here in Texas😁 Nice find! Just wish that couple's relatives would have packed up all their belongings.
Am I the only one reliving the movie 'Cold Creek Manor'?
That house looks like someone ransacked it looking for something,
How ironic lol ? Bullets and a plastic hair curler. That was a weird thing to see. Thanks for the look through I really enjoy seeing x from Bath England
I was going to say I didn't know you were gone, I have been watching a lot of your older videos, but I then realized I just did the waterslide amusement park explore man that was good and I captured something amazing on that. Anyways I'm sorry about those ticks, theres so many things I guess that can happen other than the obvious, be safe out there thanks
You do draw nature no doubt, bees , birds, snakes an mountain dew yeah theres absolutely no need to get stung, especially after the tics. Ok be safe Hunter thanks for the adventure!!!
To repel insects cover yourself with diatomatious (sp) earth, a find dustlike powder that kills insects when they breath it. Wear snake boots, etc. Little creatures like that come with the territory.
Jan Badinski The stuff you mentioned to kill bugs also kills bed bugs. They walk across it- it scape s their bottom & they dehydrate & die.
That was a great video ! I saw some old Home Interior pictures on the kitchen/ dining area. I have one of them & wish I had all those owls..put them around my plants in the summer, Deer are supposedly afraid of them, I live In the country,an area where deer come up in my yard & patios & eat my plants. I have Owls, wind chimes & fake snakes all around ,sometimes they still come around.
Also hate to see all those family photos, hard to believe family members didn't take them.
My little dog & I both had ticks on us this past summer. They were bad around here.
Take care, be safe & wear a mask, mold is so dangerous too.
masons love the owls
skin so soft by Avon, or Buck's vapor rub do great for keeping thenasties away, enjoyed your video, look forward to more.
Ticks are nasty, but chiggers are way nasty. I usually get 2 or 3 ticks dug in per day all summer long . I am glad we don't have chiggers here !! interesting house and video. Are you in Ohio? or were those old papers just from Akron and Cadiz Ohio?
Hey Hunter nice explore your lucky with the Tick bites I just had a friends cousin die from Lyme disease from a Tick bite. Ya know watching you do your explore I'm a picker and I am looking at all the stuff we would go into a place like that legally of course pick what we want then haggle over price but it's always bothered me like ya work hard your whole life then your gone and you wonder where is the persons family and why it's left like that . Anyways really enjoy your channel glad your back . CHEERS
oh wow... the bee house! that many bees have a HUGE honey stash!! PM me the location and we split the honey! i WILL go in there. -in a bee suit. but i will get the honey.
Michigan Missy if you do go in and get some, I'd love to buy some from you!!! That's such a cool thing to do!!
Michigan Missy ppl
Bees are pretty calm if you're calm. They're empathic little creatures. If you freak out, they will freak out. But in a bee suit, there's really no worries. I've kept bees too. So I know how to move slow and not agitate em.
Those are yellowjackets not bee's.
Its amazing how long that house sat there abandoned with Nixon papers etc.
The first thing we see is framed Freemason clock and there are owls everywhere, the owl being an important symbol in Freemasonry, I think. There was also a book, entitled "Sermons By The Devil".
Yikes!! Keep away from those bees! Probably poison ivy and oak in all those weeds too. Yuk!
A GOOD FIXING UP ALL IT NEEDS. DO YOU REVISIT THESE PLACES ONCE THEY ARE FIXED AFTER AUCTION? IT IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE..
21:28 those are honey bees.🐝🍯 Around the corner from them (21:00) are hornets. Hornets, steal honey. That's why their so far away. If your not highly allergic to bees, you can carefully take off the siding of the house and check out the honey comb.🍯
There are a bunch of honey bee🐝 hive videos i watch on occasion. You'll be amazed!
Oh my LORD. That poloroid picture looks like a clone of one of mine from 1975!! Spooky!!
I wonder what was inside that leather suitcase on the floor? But if you saw rodent droppings, it's a good thing you didn't unzip it to look.
This was an awesome find at the time!😄😜
Talked to the guy that owns it.Thats the way to do it.
Maybe they drank to much whiskey and hated too much. That owl portrait was from the 70s I used to have the set
The hole in the floor up stairs is a flu for a heating stove!!
Love the jacket 🧥 upstairs in the closet! It’s my birthday 🎂 And my son’s name is Hunter too!
❤️
Subbed and liked! Keep it up! U can mail me the coat ! Lol !
The hole in the floor is for a stove pipe!
Thanks Hunter!!!
I would love to have this house!
That cleaver was a beauty!!
Hopefully you are not allergic to posion ivy. Because the greenery you were pushing away from you was posion ivy. Don't rub your eyes or take a pee till you wash your hands.
Lmao put ur listening ears on 😂
Wow the bee's! They were all over! Where is that place!? We don't have bee's like that plus you mentioned snake's also! Brave thanks for doing all the hard work so I can safely watch your videos.
Love the picture over the microwave!
Hunter, asking permissions and doing research. You my friend have a new sub. Keep up the good work.
"The only thing I can say is "OMG!!!!, how can you do this, your curiosity is amazing for sure, as is mine, I would not go that far though, hope you are OK after those bee stings, Holy shit"!!! 😕💀👻😯😮
Great video; appreciation the attention to detail. Saw comment on protect your Lungs, Please, Please take care..
Nope news paper 1959 would have been Eisenhower Administration Nixon was Vp then he would have to wait another decade to become POTUS.
it's really sad if the first house can't be lived in anymore
