To me, it looks like the action will be fun, but it's already hinting at great character development. The main character reminds me of a pit bull rescued from a fighting ring. Deep down, he wants to be a sweet boy, but all he knows is violence and fighting for dominance. Finding an environment where he's welcomed and valued and supported will take some time to adjust to. If they do it right, this can be a real tear-jerker.

@DarkAnimeCorner If you want a top tier anime that will make you cry, watch Frieren. That show is just solid melancholy for a good long while, until suddenly it isn't. The end credits music is just crushing.
