No this isn't a true factory reset .
Both earbuds must be available to reset.
If one earbud wont wake up then the app is useless to factory reset.
The other method of keeping them in the charging dock and touching both is also useless as one is not awake so touching is useless as well

Connect both earbuds to continue". The left one doesn't work with me.
