How To Turn On/Off, Pair and Reset Your Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earbuds

- How to turn ON/OFF, pair and reset your Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earbuds to your bluetooth devices.
*When you first open your Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earbuds make sure to full charge them with the included battery case. The battery case LED will turn yellow when it's charging and green when it's fully charged. The pairing process will not work if the earbuds are in low battery mode.
Easy steps to pair your earbuds to your smartphone:
1. Turn you bluetooth setting on your smartphone.
2. You can place them in your ears or hold them.
3. Tap and hold down the flat back surface of each earbuds (control panel) for 5 seconds until the red and blue LED lights flash simultaneously. A voice will say, "pairing."
3. Search for "Sennheiser TW" on your smartphone and click connect.
4. Your earbuds LED light will flash blue 3x and stay blue to indicate that they are paired to your bluetooth device. A voice will say, "pairing successful."
5. If pairing failed you can restart by choosing "forget this device" or "remove this device" from your smartphone and redo the pairing steps.
Easy steps to turn on/off earbuds:
Once you have paired your earbuds to you bluetooth device.
1. Place fully charged earbuds in your ears. They will only turn on when they are certain distance from your left and right ears and pair automatically. Paired devices establish the Bluetooth wireless connection immediately after switch-on and are ready for use.
2. To turn off you earbuds simply out them back in the charging case and they turn off automatically.
*When you switch the earbuds on, they automatically try to
connect to the last connected Bluetooth device. The earphones can
save the connection profiles of up to eight Bluetooth devices with
which they have been paired.
Easy steps to pair earbuds to laptop or desktop computer:
1. Go to your bluetooth setting on your computer and turn it on.

least 30 seconds. The earphones are reset to the factory default settings.
*You can also reset the earphones to the factory default settings
using the Smart Control app.

For english, just do it. It fixed my issue;
By default, left and right earbud are peer paired to each other and connect automatically after power-on. If LED indicator is alternating green/red, this earbud is not peer paired, i.e. the left and right earbuds are not connected to each other.
In this case perform the following steps to pair both earbuds:
• Deactivating Bluetooth at your smartphone to disconnecting your MOMENTUM TW 2.
• Hold both touch controls for at least 10 seconds to enter peer pairing mode at both. earbuds (Pairing mode is indicated by green/red alternating LED indicator on both earbuds).
• The earbuds are now getting paired with each other, what may take a few seconds.
• Successful peer pairing is indicated by 3x blue flashing LEDs.

Since there is not resetting and the video is minimum basic info/useless here is hiw to Resett the Sennheiser Momentum TWS:
1. Use the USB cable to connect the charging case to a power
source (> 12).
2. Insert the earbuds into the charging case and, within 60 seconds,
touch and hold the right and the left touch control panel for at
least 30 seconds.

I found it from reddit for windows (actually this video also shows 00:43):
"What I do is: hold both buds and wait til you hear it's in pairing mode, go to Windows Bluetooth, add a device, then wait til I see Momentum TW (with the headphone icon) and connect to it. Then I click my volume in the status bar and make sure my output is Momentum TW (Stereo)"

Thanks for the great video! Had some trouble connecting it with my iPhone at first. My mistake was to always connect with a Bluetooth device called LE-MOMENTUM TW that was listed under "my devices" when opening the settings. When i saw you choosing something under "other devices" I realized that there was also the option to connect with MOMENTUM TW. After selecting it, it finally paired!

They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
They suck.i just got them and half the time they wont pair to bluetooth.

I have the Momentum 2 Earbuds and I LOVE THEM. There is one quirk that bothers me, it brought me to this video. My charger will turn green after about 5 minutes of charging but if you unplug them and plug them back in, it will turn yellow and begin charging again??? I'm never quite sure when they are fully charged but THEY SOUND GREAT...👍

My momentums are not giving any response, the case shows a green light but nothing when they are out, what should I do?

my headphones doesnt turn off in the case. sometimes when i put them in the case and turn on a youtube video or music i can still hear it coming from the headphones while INSIDE the case, meaning they're also not in standby mode and drain power nonstop

clear the golden plates on the buds and in the charger, even if its just a little smudge..
0stmackaa I did that and still didn’t have any joy, I fixed it in the end anyway. I put them on charge again and then they worked... weird that happened since I had them on charge the night before.
I think it's just a little buggy sometimes. I put mine away in the case and then later heard them playing music when they should've been off and disconnected from my phone. Little stuff happens like that but they are reliable 99% of the time

Hey =) @ Alyssa uneek Salazar,i usually have the same issue..basically what i do is forget the device completely(your bluetooth headphone)then i turn off both headphones and turn it back on pressing both sides SIMULTANEOUSLY and click find device or scan or whatever and when you see your bluetooth headphone icon appear..just connect and you should hear on both sides.Hope this helps

Can I set up my earbuds without a cellphone?
You can certainly pair the earbuds without the Smart Control app, using a laptop. In terms of setting up, that can only be accessed on the app. For firmware updates through computer, download the Sennheiser Updater on their site.

I have the problem that the headphones are not charged if you same time charge the case. So when you go out the headphones are on battery level 0%. Must have with me extra headphones in reserve as I never know when these headphones work. It's a new FW updating 1.26 and see if it gets better of it

Update: I just fixed it lol. I pressed both earbuds at the same time for 15 seconds and then they both started to pair up again.

The firmware on these are atrocious for the premium price you pay they lose pairing they jitter and have issues all the time. I find they dont like being paired to multiple devices.

yes it will. that is what the case is for 😅 if your headphones starts to get low ob battery, just plug them in the case and you will be charging them at least 2 times

If the methods shown in the video do no work, try to reset the earbuds by deleting them from your bluetooth settings and starting the pairing process again.
