Great things can happen when you work with a guitar manufacturer that listens to players. Years ago, during a visit to the PRS factory, Sales Director Jim Cullen asked Ed why we always requested McCarty switching on Moore Guitars' Wood Library builds. Ed's answer to that question sparked the birth of the Custom 24-08.
The PRS Custom 24-08 is a tone factory. The unique wiring configuration allows the pair of humbucking pickups (85/15) to work as, basically, 4 single-coil pickups. You can get every conceivable combination of humbucking and single-coil combinations INCLUDING that single-coil neck pickup sound.
