    I’m not sure why you’d call any jazz great “The leading jazz musician on earth at this time.” In an interview

      Sam Flegal I think he did this because, I mean, heck, ITS SONNY ROLLINS. I think what he meant was pretty much every other jazz great is not alive today. So by default, he’s the greatest. With his amount of experience he’s had and the time that he’s been alive, I don’t blame him!

    A play can can have more than 3 acts. A life can have more than 3 acts and this is why Mr Rollins is a genius and the interviewer is not. He refuses to be bound by conventions or limited thinking such as a third and final act. H refuses to be categorized. Right on!
