    Parabéns pelo teste! É muito importante fazer estes exercícios e mostrar a eficiência dos produtos e cada vez com mais tecnologia!

    Appreciate you doing this test .If it was me i would have had someone grabbing it before it hit the deck .

      Grabbing it would have defeated the purpose of seeing what the real type of damage would occur. And with wind drift it would have been very hard to catch it.

      Not when you have Enterprise Shield protection :) And if we didn't we could get the part for under $50.

    Thank you for demonstrating on how it works, but I don't really think it is working well. The parachute is too small, it i needs to be larger. That would probably allow the drone to be slowed down even more. I also noticed that instead of landing flat it came down at an angle and that's the problem, that parachute ain't cheap, that's $1500++ parachute. If the cord when would attach on each arms then it would allow the drone to land flat and prevent this kind of damage. Yet broken arm would have had not happened if it had landed flat.

    That’s a pretty damn hard landing

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  Před rokem

      The parachute slowed it down from almost 20 mph to 4 mph horizontally mostly from wind. Nothing can slow it down slower before it hits the ground.

      @@SteelCityDrones If the parachute is larger it will slow it down even more.

      @@capricoinbest7030 Larger parachute = more weight. That's more weight it really can't carry reliably.

      @@SteelCityDrones only an inch and half or two round would not change anything really that much and it would considerably have an effect on how fast the drone would hit the ground. Though the chute being only attached on two legs is the problem here. To have a real effect it needs to be attached to the rear as well this would also play a huge effect to the way the drone would fall vs flat. The drone felt tilted because it is only attached on the front legs. if the cords would be attached to the four legs it would allow the its fall flat. Appreciated your comment and video anyway.

    try self-bloating copper thin film solar blimp balloon parachute, and weights nothing, and floats around, at sun

      if its too costly, then you can electroplate a thin film foil of copper simply

      This test and product is to enhance public safety. Nobody should expect a drone free falling from 250 feet at 5-6 mph to be completely in like new condition. In all realty DJI drones rarely if ever fail and I have never seen a Matrice drone fall out of the sky without a battery issue that was caused by pilot error (poor use and or maintenance). In the likelyhood that if a crash was to happen the DJI Enterprise shield plan would cover it.

      @SteelCityDrones  Před rokem +3

      Fail? It broke one prop and a $30 plastic part. Not bad for 15 pounds falling from 250 feet.

      @Steel City Drones Everything is just fine after a 15-l.b drone hits the ground at 5 to 7 miles an hour.. I'm sure the camera will re center itself, and all the internals are working just fine..👍 Once a drone is crashed, it is never ever the same.

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  Před rokem +1

      @@independentdronechannel170 There are 2 main benefits of what this test proved. The first benefit is to provide safety to people and property in the event of a drone crash. That test passed, and the 2nd one is that it helps provide the extra push for flying over people applications with the FAA. We have sold 102 Matrice 300 for example, and to our knowledge only 3 have crashed all due to pilot error. So in the event that a crash takes place you can use your Crash protection plan that comes free with all DJI enterprise Drones.

      Huge success. I’d feel comfortable flying this over a crowd of people versus not having a parachute and risking serious injury or even death of ground folks.
      Drones can be replaced whereas human lives cannot. Thanks for sharing !
